Botox experiences please? Am I too young?

I'm 32. I have generally good skin (except for enlarged pores which I hate) but my number 11s are noticeable. I also feel like my eyes are a bit hooded because my forehead skin has sort of dropped.

I figured that some Botox in the forehead region would lift my eye area a bit and would get rid of the 11s.

Can anyone talk me through having Botox, how much you paid, if you thought it was good and what age you had it at? TIA Grin

Go for it! I had mine first done at 40 and wish I had done it years ago. I get it done for forehead lines, 11s and lines at the outer corners of my eyes. Originally I only wanted the eyes and forehead done, but my dermatologist said that because of the way the muscles are linked, if I had the forehead done I needed my 11s doing, otherwise those muscles would overcompentate and I'd end up looking angry all the time. Don;t know whether it works the other way round and you need your forehead doing if you want 11s doing.

I do to a consultant dermatologist in London - so probably the pricier end of the scale - and for those 3 areas I pay £550. I get it done 2-3 times a year.

I started having my 11s done aged 35. I'm a big advocate of it. You will be amazed - go for it. I pay c£200 every 6-7 months for it.

I really want my number II done but it isn't cheap. I can tell that more and more people are having it done and I feel really old looking in comparison.

You could try laser instead, which might also help deal with large pores.

I'm tempted. I'm 38 and my forehead lines are really settling in now, I'm beginning to get '11's too. Does anyone get it done in Oxfordshire?

I don't really think 32 is too young. I have "Baby Botox" which is same strength Botox but a lot less. It means my forehead still looks natural and has movement, but surface lines whilst the face is relaxed, aren't visible. I'm 44.

I'm 31 and had it done for the second time today. It's amazing. As well as giving me a completely smooth forehead it stopped me getting tension headaches and apparently I always look in a much better mood! No-one noticed I'd had it done unless I told them. I pay £100 but that's mates rates.

I have it done on my 11's and forehead and it is subtle but makes a real difference. I am fairly sure that lots of my friends also have it done but its never talked about. I used to go to someone who, according to the TV and magazines was 'the best' but I wasn't impressed so now go to a GP who does it and she's fantastic. I pay £150 for 2 areas.

How often are you having it done. I could probably manage every 6-9 months but I couldn't afford to have it done more often than that.

I have an almost permanent headache around number 11s so it would probably have health benefits for me too.

TheArtic Botox may well help your headaches. But you may not get as long as 6-9 months out of it. More like 3-4.

Started having at 28, at 30 I've grown a massive interest in it and now a practising aesthetic nurse at a private hospital. It's the only true anti aging product available. No creams / potions / serums are proven, Botox will work and will work great providing you choose a good practitioner. Prices locally are about £150 1 area, £200 2 areas £250 3 areas

How do you find a reputable/good practitioner to do it? Am nervous of looking ridiculous!
