Going braless if you are small of nork...

and don't really need the support of a bra?

I've started doing it recently..not under very sheer clothes but under a lightweight jumper and today with a wrap dress.

The reaction has been unexpected! Two friends who said it was overly provocative and another who said "what will you do in the chiller bit in tesco" Hmm

Male friend who commented on my lack of bra and said its much more out there than having big boobs on show.

Thoughts?

Skinheadmermaid Fancy popping over to the bra threads? We've only ever found a couple of true A cup women. We've yet to find anyone who is genuinely an AA (under bust measurement the same as across bust measurement).

I've helped my 13 yr old goddaughter get a bra today. She is almost flat chested and needed a 28C.

I used to do it a lot as a teenager (resulting in some very happy boyfriends!) but I'm a bit heavier than I was then and after 2 DC my norks have got bigger, to a C cup. I would love my smaller ones back tbh! I don't like wired bras, so I wear soft stretchy ones like the bravado seamless one or those sloggi stretchy crop tops - that's a good compromise if you don't want pointy nipples on show.

Your friends are pretty forward in their comments though!

I'm more concerned that your friends used the word "provocative". I'd be asking them to clarify exactly what they meant by using that sort of language.
