well you naturally have a lovely pink colour, don't you rhubarb Grin

schneebly · 13/06/2006 14:26

Not a drop - I only wear make up for a night out or function - probably once every 2-3 months. I am lucky to have fairly good skin but I really need to start looking after it better.

smoggie · 13/06/2006 14:28

Dior bronzer that probably wore off at about 10 am, lancome juicy tubes on lips and nowt else.
Meant to put touche eclat on (serious black cicles) and mascara when I got to work, but it never happened.
Ususally put make up on whilst sitting on bottom stair whilst putting dss shoes on, no wonder I look a mess! Would LOVE to be shown how to do it properly - Dior woman I went to last year was just scary! Any ideas of good places to go? Live in north- eastern wastelands so no trendy make up places here just the usual suspects - any recommendations?

np - no I'm on Teesside so Newcastle would be the nearest decent shopping mecca. I'd love to be shown how to put eyeliner on without looking like a total goth which is how I always end up if I try!!

NomDePlume · 13/06/2006 15:12

Space NK also in Trafford Centre in Manc

smoggie · 13/06/2006 15:13

space NK seem to be regularly cited for good advice and make up. What sort of price range are they - ?similar to Dior /Clarins stuff. Might be worth a trip to Leeds/Harrogate.

nailpolish · 13/06/2006 15:14

if you go to leeds check out the harvey nichols too

NomDePlume · 13/06/2006 15:14

\link{http://www.spacenk.co.uk/SpaceNK/StoreLocatorIndex.aspx?language=en-GB\SpaceNK store locator}

You can shop online too.

CountessDracula · 13/06/2006 15:17

I can tell you

Buy that brush I said earlier at SpaceNK online

Get the Laura Mercier block eyeliner too \link{http://www.spacenk.co.uk/SpaceNK/ProductDetailsVariant.aspx?productid=0030%2f2916&category=B0030COLOURCEYE&language=en-GB\here}

wet the brush (NOT the eyeliner) and dabble on the eyeliner. You may need to wet it two or 3 times to get enough stuff on the brush

Then pull your eyelid up and put the flat edge of the brush against the bottoms on your eyelashes (NB NOT on your eyelid or it all rubs off on the one below and makes for pink eyes) When in position jiggle side to side a few times side. Continue along the whole eyelid

If you want it stronger then do the same from the top.

easy peasy
