I'm too hot. Are there any good tops around for a woman whose bra straps are wide and whose upper arms are not her best feature?

Big norks. Not massively keen on my upper arms. Otherwise average. But am boiling hot and sporting unattractive sweaty patches atm and getting paranoid that everyone is noticing. What's out there in the very cool (in both senses of the word) top department? Am going to find something this evening but don't have much time so any tips gratefully received.:)

That makes sense beety- I will definitely look in Gap tomorrow. Cod i am going to get that very first t shirt and maybe a skirt from white stuff. i like the green one sweetie pie one.

Ooops, logged off pronto last night Scummy. Do lots of lurking now. Like some of these tops as well so will get my act together and get some.

My white stuff stuff has arrived and it's great. Neck line of t shirt is fab and the skirt is brill- both nice and cool too.:) Thanks for the suggestion cod. I'd never heard of white stuff before- saw references to it on here but thought you were talking about the white company and I've always thought they were a bit poncey so ignored them. der.

Haven't read whole thread but you might ike the same sort of cover up that I do - vest top (with wide straps in your case) and a little sheer or light weight shrug / bolero thing on top. This would hide both upper arms and sweat patches.

Oh cod I saw the exact thing I had in mind today and the woman wearing it said it was from Next, last year, so I am not completely odd to want one.

those marks and sparks ones you linked to cod - they are SO MUCH nicer in rl than on that photo! I've got one in a lovely slatey colour - v flattering and lovely fine cotton
