The M. Margiela flats are lovely but am not tempted because ankle straps make my legs look even shorter and the colour would look horrible on my milky white legs.

Nooooo Santa it's the marketing bod in me! If a UK brand goes to the US they should amend there language to the audience. So it should be the same for a US brand in the UK. I couldn't open a store in France and expect them to speak English just because I do. Sorry, I'm a weirdo!

Franca Milan??? I love Milan. I had a very expensive work event there 10 years ago, when I took clients to the Grand Prix. Bought a Prada purse, Chanel sunnies, lots of MaxMara. So much fun.
