santamarianovella · 10/05/2013 14:46

i love it,the silver one is really nice paris.

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 10/05/2013 14:48

But what about the tentaclllllllllllllles! I'm not sure I could live with the tentacles. I prefer the silver but the rose gold has more subtle coloured tentacles.

Never in my life have I written tentacles so many times,
nor skort

QueenCadbury · 10/05/2013 14:50

Afraid I can't see past the tentacles Grin. Also, why, when I type tentacles do I really want to write testicles!! Not my style at all but do love both colours.

Drywhiteplease · 10/05/2013 14:52

Swimming? Sunshine? Have I missed something? Bloody freezing up north...opaques back on Sad
Went to work dosed up with DayNurse...yr 3 said I had a red nose and looked like Rudolph!! I thanked him little shit for making me feel so good!Grin
Foxy that's a relief, I was a bit worried for you!!!
Will I be ok in London with a trench coat and ballet flats ( no socks) or do I need boots? don't say boots pleeeeeese

shopafrolic · 10/05/2013 14:52

Franca stick around. We love a gate crashed here. I've never bought from ShopBop but lots have, you just need to be aware about the duty thing I think. What are you buying? :)
Marsha sun's out here too but breezy. DH has gone to ick our dogs up from kennels (couldn't handle DS, a spaniel and a lab while he was gone) and then we'll all be back together.
Agreed, you are all lovely on here, I've felt very lucky having you all around this last week, plus, you all have great taste! Win, win.
Amber I wish charidee shops here were the same as where you shop! What a find!

Crasher! Flipping auto correct!

LinusDKD · 10/05/2013 14:53

Franca I have bought from them before and the are fast and I am used to paying duties (not in UK) so makes no difference to me.

shop you must be so happy dat Mr. shop is back!

OneLittle lucky you! Two bags! And congrats on the Shred!

The Chan Luu bracelets from Gilt have arrived and they are lovely. They have a nice weight to them and the colours are nice and vibrant.

One of them is making my floral People Tree dress look a bit less prim, which it was just what it needed.

Drywhiteplease · 10/05/2013 14:54

Cold enough o freeze your tentacles off Grin

Sorry...couldn't resist it, must be the Day Nurse!

shopafrolic · 10/05/2013 14:54

And that would be pick not ick. Must proof read before hitting post.

OP posts:
santamarianovella · 10/05/2013 15:02

dry thats what we are trying to find out,my guess is that marsha is sunbathing on the roof top of the berkeley hotel.
paris, they dont bother me,but queen post madeGrin

shopafrolic · 10/05/2013 15:02

Paris not sure about those, not so much the sucker things but the shot from above makes them look quite chunky. I have moccasins (from Fat Face!) will be thrown off thread - no suckers.....Grin
similar to these

OP posts:
Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 10/05/2013 15:08

Shop Your moccasins are nice but always feel self conscious in FatFace. I had to go in and get a gift voucher for my faux surfer SIL. It was christmas and I was going to meet some ex work colleagues for a drink. I was wearing a white vintage fake for coat and 5 inch heels. I felt like a right nob next to all the worthy types in their north face coats!

Parisisalwaysagoodidea · 10/05/2013 15:10

Blimey, I'm doing a Drywhite I was wearing clothes underneath. I'm not a 1980's hooker!

OneLittleLady · 10/05/2013 15:23

Fat Face clothes make me feel terribly frumpy, the skirts are always far far too long on me. That's my fault though since I'm a teeny five foot. I'm so used to reaching for the wunderweb that I forget not everything needs it!

Drywhiteplease · 10/05/2013 16:12

Paris fur coat and heels in Fat FaceGrin
I agree....Fat Face and White Stuff (and Debenhams copy Mantaray) all look a bit washed out to me....I like my new clothes to look new, I'm not a hippy surfer girls in any shape or form.
London tonight, back Sunday pm. See rain forecast for tomorrow but is it cold? can't wait to get a London fix

Drywhiteplease · 10/05/2013 16:13

Amber that dress looks amazing, you lucky thing.....and the white bag is perfect too.

McNally · 10/05/2013 16:29

It is bright but quite chilly in London today Dry. A reckon you'll be find with a trench coat if you've got more than just a t shirt underneath. You might be a bit cold in ballet flats but you won't freeze. I haven't checked the forecast but unless you're going to spend lots of time outside I'd risk it . Have a lovely time. Exciting plans when you're here?

OneLittleLady · 10/05/2013 16:40

Pictures of the new handbags are on my profile for those that wanted to see them Smile

Drywhiteplease · 10/05/2013 16:42

Tower of London and Billy Elliot.........no shops Sad

Sleepwhenidie · 10/05/2013 16:51

Paris I am pmsl at the image of you in fatface in faux fur and heels - looking like you've got lost on the way to Harvey Nics Grin classic!

Amber that shirt dress really suits you, looks great, fantastic find.

I skipped the gym this morning and headed straight to the shopping mecca that is Brent Cross (mainly because the car desperately needed a deep clean). Got loads of stuff for the kids that they needed (John Lewis and Zara, Petit Bateau) and then as a little reward stopped in Anna on the way home and (inevitably) bought sandals and maxi dress.

Then pottered off to pick up DS1 and had time to look in Zadig&Voltaire, which is never clever for me - I tried on a gorgeous top that I know I would wear to death...but it was £170 Shock - had to walk away for a long hard think and search for an alternative. Any ideas welcome! It was a pale gold metallic fine knit, quite clingy and sheer enough to be sheer but not so much that you could see my belly button through it. Racer back.

Out for the evening with DH later, wish I had that top to wear with my leather trousers and leopard heels...will have to find something in the wardrobe though Smile
