Is £79 too much for Clarks sandals??

I really like the look of these and I'm sure they'd be comfy and I'd wear them lots to work. But £79!?

I bought my first pair of platform sandals in 1973 and they were very similar to these. At 14 I thought I looked really cool in them. At 54 no way.

I like those, but I wouldn't pay more than £45 or so for them.

Clarke last for ages so if you really like them and think you'll get 2-3 years out of them then its worth.

I don't like em much, heels too high for everyday wear for me.

But op a dark brown version was reduced for ages on clarks website - think they were £47 but they seem to have gone now.

I think they are lovely, but a tad expensive.

I've been looking at these too and can't decide. If you could handle red or a darker brown, they were last year's colours and can be found on ebay for £30ish...can't vouch for the sandals or sellers though, obviously

I agree that Clarks have become too expensive. I love their shoes though as they are so comfy yet not hideously old fashioned. That is why I wait for the sales and buy what they have

I have these and they are fantastic , gorgeous leather , really lovely made and very comfortable, they look really stylish on too, I had a 20% off code so look online for one.

I have the flat kestral soar ones too and I love them also I wore them all summer last year and they still look brand new

Really boring IMO. And too high (for me, but not you I guess).
I would pay that and more for shoes but not from Clarks.

I like them, but I would never pay full price from Clarks, wait until they are reduced or there is a code.

Those flat ones are just Jesus Sandals. We had to wear them in school in the early 70s.
The Clarks wedge is a bit frumpy, but the one Piratecat linked to are much funkier.

That is a bit steep for sandals I reckon. The House of Fraser ones are nicer and cheaper imho

I agree that £79 is a surprising amount for a pair of Clarks sandals, but if you would get loads of wear out of them, then I think they would be a good buy. They'll be comfy, and will wear well, so a wise purchase on balance.

I tried the white but didn't like. Am hoping they do navy or red or something. They were very soft leather.

They do. Red black tan.
