DH just returned from trip to US with some gorgeous stuff for dd3(3 months). Almost died when I saw the shoes he bought for her - check out "peep toe sandals" in the girl section of Newborns (can't do links!). How gorgeous are they??!

We used to buy stuff for dd1&2 all the time from their store in Bromley - real shame they closed down.

i used to buy gymboree occasionally for dd before the shop shut at the trafford centre. still have some beige dungerees with pink flowers on them, size 6-12m (she's now 4!), but keep wanting to put them on ds before he gets too big , i did love her in those dungerees.

After beety and batters kept raving on here about the ease of ordering from the website, I can report it is as easy as they say, you don't pay taxes because they send it via Germany, and the stuff is as pretty and good quality as ever.
I miss the shops too but if you "know" Gymboree merchandise already (I was always in that shop too kando) then you can buy with confidence from the website.
They do some nice stuff for older boys too :)

Oh at last!

A shop that doesn't cover the boys clothes with cars, trains, aeroplanes and nasty slogans and logos.

I loved their shop in Wimbledon and, like others, was gutted when it shut down. Saying that, I have ordered online and the shipping isn't too steep. One thing I like about Gymboree is that I think they sell age-appropriate clothing for my DD who is 4 but wears their size age 6.

Why did they close down here anyway???

Their girls bits are lovely too. Am just eyeing up a pair of sandals for dd.

I remember buying a lovely set of newborn stuff from their shop in Harrogate for my cousins baby but that was about 5 years ago now.

Shame they closed down. There isn't enough shops like this for children IMO.

I do use Pumpkin Patch occasionaly, their things are nice too.

It dawned on me today that when we move there is only one shop that sells childrens clothes and its one of those boutiques where everythings £100+!

Gymboree closed down over here as tons of people (myself included) bought it online from the USA, with the exchange rate, not VAT (as it comes through Germany) it was basic common sense and a lot cheaper!
I did buy a lot for dd when I went to NYC recently at Gymboree.
I agree with Pumpkin patch I am a kiwi and bought for ds (now 12) when it first was made in NZ, sold from one families back garden sheds!

Whats the rate of exchange atm?

There are some great bits I wouldn't mind having. Also how long does delivery take roughly?
