Spooky, I bought 2 headbands this week - one green and one brown - but mine were from Next.

Phew at not being too old.

puff · 11/05/2006 12:42

noddyholder · 11/05/2006 13:32

fringes very useful for covering lines and making you look younger but I am not brave enough

cod · 11/05/2006 13:33

or straightenign out lines ( if oyu had em of course i am a s dewy fresh as a 16 eyar old)

hmmm I am still dithering about headbands

Harpsichordcarrier · 11/05/2006 13:34

(though I am currentlhy wearing a toe ring Shock)

Harpsichordcarrier · 11/05/2006 13:36

have had radical chop too so I Think would look cool in an aging ballerina type way

Northerner · 11/05/2006 13:37

Cod - you mocked me for wearing headband last year. Plymouth Bretheron you called me. (Ok, it was a head scarf really)

I have not yet sucumbed to head bands yet but I do have a fringe so they look a bot odd.

Fringes rock btw.

Harpsichordcarrier · 11/05/2006 13:39

Plymouth Brethren! god I hadn't thought of that Shock
there's loads of them round here too.
will wear big badge saying "I sleep with the devil" to counteract any potential confusion

wessexgirl · 11/05/2006 13:41

I vacillate between fringe and no-fringe and am fringeless right now - not sure I'd wear a hairband if I had a fringe, might feel like forehead cover-up overkill.

Why do Americans call fringes 'bangs', I've always wondered?

cod · 11/05/2006 13:42

i lok like an axe mirdereer with a firnge

OP posts:
cod · 11/05/2006 13:43

small forhead s and ringes are BAD

OP posts:
noddyholder · 11/05/2006 13:43

I like a plain black band with a ponytail

Harpsichordcarrier · 11/05/2006 13:44

I thought bangs were the long bits at the side of your hair?

puff · 11/05/2006 13:44

I look better with a fringe but it's that annoying in betweeny length at the mo. Have tried to tuck it to one side under the headband but it looks like a splat on my head that way

MamaG · 11/05/2006 13:56

I look scary with a fringe, have a v small forehead, really like headbands though. I used to wear them aaaages ago and am going to rush ou and buy some this weekend.
