Should I buy a derma flannel, or save money and use any old microfibre cloth?

I've been toying with the idea of getting one for a while baa but I remember someone saying one from poundland worked just as well.

Should I save my money or is the derma flannel really that amazing?

what is a dermaflanner? how much and what does it do?

cough (I can be v. tight fisted at times). Working shockingly well for my extremely sensitive face, though I don't use it everyday I then clanse tone moisturise whatever with a mix of this range, which is about the only stuff out there that I don't react to.

I've got the proper dermaflannel and a friend in work has bought a waffle microfibre cloth (the one on amazon... The link to it is on the other thread). I'd say save yourself a tenner and buy the cheap cloth.

Just need to find something over £20 to buy on amazon to qualify for the add on product!

What about this or am I way off the mark?

apparently the 80/20 blend of polyester and polyamide is the dermal grade from what I read here

and is the same composition of the dermaflannel, so I think it must be very very similar, if not actually the same.

hhmmm, looking closely at it, the waffle pattern is quite deep, deeper than the dermaflannel, so might not work as well, so I've cancelled my order. but will order something similar. I read on make up alley that even cheapo microfibre clothes does the job just as well.

There's this on ebay, but the weave looks quite deep on that too? Comes in a four pack which is a bonus.

I want to get one that is definitely for skin, because that article choc posted says it might not be safe to use household ones

I searched facial microfibre on Amazon. Found a 5 for £5.99 option. Can't link at the moment. Arrived yesterday and I used last night. Today my skin feels much smoother but also a bit dry and a little pink (not helped by cold breeze this morning). Think it might be a winner but I am going to give it a week or so before deciding. I wanted to have more than one for washing etc and am also v tight so wanted to try for cheap. (Probably bad reasoning as of course the more expensive one might be much better. But i am who I am)
