they look good in that picturee though!!
I saw a couple of people wearing those knee length shorts with tights and flat shoes tonight. The wearers were skinnies but even so it still looks wierd

hulababy · 17/04/2006 18:21

What are they supposed to be for?

Boarding a boat?

Luggs · 17/04/2006 19:07

Personally I blame the All Saints who I think started the whole look....10 years on and they still have a hold.....

ItalianJob · 17/04/2006 19:09

i agree with you cod. my hips and arse would look like back end of a bus in these. and those particular ones look hideously creased.

georginarf · 17/04/2006 19:12

are they boarding as in skateboarding?

think is a bit sad to be emulating a skateboarder look once you are older than about 16

I used to wear them, we used to call them combats. There is a nice pair in the Next shop I keep admiring, a lovely magenta colour.

Blossomhill · 17/04/2006 19:28

I avoid them like the plague and main reason is they are a complete arse to iron with all those bloody pockets!

MrsBadger · 17/04/2006 19:36

don't think they're meant to be ironed! certainly don't iron my (flattering dark brown) ones.
And they're only combats if they have cargo pockets on the leg - boardies if they don't.
