Just wondered, the mirror seems to indicate I am not doing enough.. how long do you spend cleansing, applying and removing making up, dealing with unwanted hairs erc, hiding grey/white hairs... more than 10 mins a week anyone?

Probably averages out to about 40 mins a day.

am - cleanse/tone/moisturise/make up

pm remove make up/exfoliate/moisturise

sort out hair

nail/ eyebrow and "other bits" tidy/defuzz every few days

shower every day - always do dry body brushing before, then rub on body oil after

Oh my god. No, I don't. Have shocked myself, thinking about this. I do almost nothing.

I look like shit too. Not surprising!

robinpud · 06/03/2006 19:05

What is dry brushing Puff?

Kelly1978 - that is an impressive figure!

I hadn't included doing my hair which is thick and needs straightening after washing which I do twice a week, so that bumps my total up a bit.

I find having to do anything in front of a mirror very tedious.

Every morning it takes me about 40-45 mins to get ready (shower, moisturise, make up, hair). Spend about 5 mins at night taking make up off and moisturising again.

Have a bath probably twice or three times a week to de-fuzz, do proper body moisturise. Say, half an hour each time.

Earlybird · 06/03/2006 19:43

I think dry/body brushing is to get all old/dead/dry skin off. Body exfoliation.

cod · 06/03/2006 19:49

its hen you hav severe facialhair

Mercy · 06/03/2006 19:51

haha - but what does it involve?

puff · 06/03/2006 19:51

rofl cod Grin

I had an elemis body massage/treatment a while back and beforehand they always brush your skin over with a bodybrush to exfoliate it - same idea as preparing skin for fake tan, so its smoother etc.

I bought a japanese body brush and use it regularly - has made a real difference, especially to the skin on my upper arms.

cod · 06/03/2006 19:52
