I am 33 and this is dress from Asos (Awear)

cat dress

I've tried it on with my skinny jeans and some dark red round toe heels is v flattering shape wise looks nice but then I have a crisis of confidence - is it just for the young trendy ones It is a little bit "fun" and not very sophis ? I'm worried people may think "mutton" or some such similar in the pub on Friday night?

smelly - VB = Victoria Beckham

mirpuppet · 18/07/2012 23:50

Looked like bears to me until I really looked for cat features.

FunnysInLaJardin · 19/07/2012 10:11

dexter I like that Zara coat too, and nearly bought a jerkin/gillet style one just like that last winter from Marc Jacobs but it was too ££££££

BupcakesandCunting · 19/07/2012 10:13

I have got the cat print dress! (am 32)

I love it and lots of people have commented on it, including DH who said the cats looked like demented bears. Hmm

dexter73 · 19/07/2012 11:15

Funny - I don't like the Zara coat at all! I think it looks like part of a gorilla costume! A furry gilet is ok but that jacket - no!! However a shirt with tiny dogs heads on is perfectly acceptable to me!

FunnysInLaJardin · 19/07/2012 12:18

sorry dexter didn't mean I like it as well as you. I meant I like it as well as liking all the other stuff on here. I suspected that you thought twas awful Grin

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 19/07/2012 12:24

That dress is lovely, think I will order it.

I liked the shirt Dexter linked but then on close inspection of the print, not so much..the dogs were a bit full on for me.

TheSuperstylistForMUMS · 19/07/2012 12:49

Little Orange- Wear it with pride. Love the print and it adds fun to your wardrobe. Enjoy it. You can dress it up with heels or down with pumps and tights too.

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 19/07/2012 12:51

Ordered ! Thanks LittleOrange :)

dexter73 · 19/07/2012 14:00

FunnysInLaJardin - so I'm not going to see you walking around looking all furry and casually grooming random passers-by?!!

MsOliveOyl · 19/07/2012 14:41

33 is not too old for anything and I like anything with animals on it :) I wouldn't wear jeans with it though.

Dresses go with tights/bare legs, jeans go with tops, leggings go with 3 year olds, jeggings go in the bin. That's the RULES!!!

FunnysInLaJardin · 19/07/2012 14:45

well you might dexter. Just keep an eye out

Pinot · 19/07/2012 14:47

I like cats.

MissFoodie · 19/07/2012 16:50

me too, but more Paul & Joe than Asos.......sorry

NettoSuperstar · 24/07/2012 14:55

Wore dress today.
It's a tiny bit too long, so I'm going to have it taken up, I'm only 5'2 but it fits really well otherwise.
I wore it with tights and flat boots, and a cropped cardi.
DD doesn't like it, but my friend who would be honest said it's great and really suits me.
I've not worn a dress since I was about 19!

catgirl1976 · 24/07/2012 19:15

I love the cat print dress and the dog blouse

I am 36. I would wear them both
