Do you/should you stick to the rule of tight bottoms/loose top; loose bottoms/tight top?

I always have so I don't either look a) tarty or b) like I'm wearing a sack.

If I'm being unclear, I mean if you wear tight jeans for example, you then wear a loose top to counteract, and if you wear a big floaty skirt, you wear a tight top....

I've been really strict with myself lately exercise-wise and am more toned up than I have been in years, and a few times I've 'caught myself' wearing tight stuff all over. Am I walking round looking slutty without realising it? Is it ever ok? Style gurus please advise Smile

The decade that fashion forgot

Ah, the 80s - when you didn't wear a jacket, it wore you.

"With loose top and bottom you very much risk looking like a balloon animal."

RoxyRobin you made my day :o

I regularly wear a fitted t shirt with skinny jeans. I wouldn't wear skinny jeans with a tight low-cut top, though.
