And does it make any difference to sagging if you do?

OP posts:
valiumredhead · 11/06/2012 08:28

I really can't imagine restricted your boobs 24 hrs a day is a good thing at all!

HazleNutt · 11/06/2012 08:44

Yes I do, well not an underwired bra but a crop top or Bravissimo PJ top. it's uncomfortable otherwise.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 11/06/2012 08:49

To those talking about muscles - your boobs don't have any. Doesn't matter how toned your pecs are, will make no difference to boob saggage

no matter what Judy 'i must i must increase my bust' Blume says

Hyperballad · 11/06/2012 08:51

nope

Mombojombo · 11/06/2012 09:34

Yes ItsAllGoingToBeFine - pectoral muscles aren't much to do with boobs. If you've small boobs and developed pecs you end up looking all a bit <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=goldie+hawn+chest&hl=en&client=safari&rls=en&biw=1308&bih=786&tbm=isch&tbnid=ZmBmAxE2Ui1CeM:&imgrefurl=www.celebritysmackblog.com/category/goldie-hawn/&docid=UABWOHAdA3t0XM&imgurl=c580019.r19.cf2.rackcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/90212nb7_hawn_g_b_gr_01.jpg&w=506&h=760&ei=OqzVT9PvDc-M0wWq0PiYBA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=422&vpy=112&dur=1663&hovh=275&hovw=183&tx=113&ty=153&sig=109145288729177703944&page=1&tbnh=141&tbnw=101&start=0&ndsp=32&ved=1t:429,r:2,s:0,i:76" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Goldie Hawn

And furthermore, I ACTUALLY wear a bra in bed (as well as to keep sticky boobs from my armpits) because I have fibrocystic breasts - lots of dense benign cystic tissue and very little breast fat (despite being a HH cup) and they are fricking AGONY if left to swing free. Supported cystic breasts are LESS likely to get cancer apparently - according to my boob consultant.

QuinionsRainbow · 11/06/2012 11:58

Never. But then I often don't wear one out of bed, either.

AnyFucker · 11/06/2012 13:18

whenever I pack a case, no matter where I am going, there are two essentials that I must never, ever forget

my bra to sleep in, and vaseline for my lips at night

I just mistakenly posted that on a very unrelated thread Blush

Kristina2 · 11/06/2012 18:54

I am reassusred, AF, that despite your provocative name and your even more outrageous posts, you are in fact a boring middle aged woman just like the rest of us. I bet you have your hair in rollers and your teeth in a glass beside the bed........

thaliablogs · 11/06/2012 19:10

Definitely. Got advice from a breast surgeon when I was pregnant. Wear a well fitting underwired bra during the day; and a soft supportive but not restricting bra at night. Helps w sagging.

I am large of nork, about an E cup no but went up to HH when breastfeeding. In fact I use my old bfeeding bras to sleep in as they are a bit too big and aren't underwired.

AnyFucker · 11/06/2012 23:15

kris, my name is not provacative

it simply means that I (and you, and anybody posting anywhere on t'internet) could literally be "any fucker"

as in "this could be any fucker/hairy-handed trucker/insert weirdo of your preference"

and there are much more outrageous people than me, I am prim by comparison

I wear a bra in bed, I don't slag anyone off (unless they start first), I don't diss celebs as a rule, I have to wear vaseline on my lips or they dry up to prunes in the night, I don't bore people rigid wax lyrical about my sex life, I don't stealth-boast, I don't misery-plop all over the shop, I never troll or name change maliciously, I rarely report attacks upon myself

I am the perfect poster in fact Wink

shelscrape · 11/06/2012 23:22

Yup, always wear a bra or a pyjama top with inbuilt boob support in bed. i started wearing one about 8 years ago, I'm 28F and had found my boobs were very uncomfortable and ached over night, it was disturbing my sleep. Someone suggested I wore a soft bra overnight, pain problems instantly solved

Kristina2 · 12/06/2012 08:24

Thats true AF. And you never do the " im pg, guess who i am? " posts which are THE MOST ANNOYING ever on mn. Or the " whose your favourite poster?" carp

AnyFucker · 12/06/2012 08:45

kris you are my favourite poster Wink

shrimponastick · 12/06/2012 08:48

No.

Too uncomfortable and tight!

I like to be nekked!!!!!Grin

SoupDragon · 12/06/2012 08:57

I wear vests/nightdresses with secret support rather than a bra. I find it more comfortable. It certainly isn't going to make sagging worse.

Kristina2 · 12/06/2012 09:01
Eliza22 · 12/06/2012 09:13

Hmmm....interesting. I think I may try this. Am coming up on 50 and ALL OF A SUDDEN everything feels like its starting to "go", despite my time spent at the gym

I may buy a nice soft one though. I usually hoik my 36D's up with a bit of underwiring, which may not be the thing, in bed.

I can "get" that "snugly door mouse in the nest" thing!

Mikyahrose · 12/06/2012 10:51

No No No! I couldnt think of anything worse than wearing my bra in bed. I love the relief in taking it off at the end of the day. If i didnt get sweaty under boobs, i'd definitely wear it less. I'm big boobed - 30HH. Have never worn a bra in bed, have pretty good pert boobs for their size.

Pinkshoes2 · 12/06/2012 20:32

Yeah, i wear one in bed and have done for years and i think it really does help keep them from sagging as much.

LePinot · 12/06/2012 20:45

Are we talking a bra as in same as you'd wear in the day?

Or a softer version?

I'm bog boobed and wear a vest with a shelf in it but tbh it's like pissing in the wind trying to contain these beasts when I'm fidgeting all night.

I always wear pants though - just incase a spider crawls up my snatch. Or DH come to think of it.

AnyFucker · 12/06/2012 20:51

I wear a softer version, with no wires or padding

In fact there is next to no uplift in my sleep bras, I just like to feel gently enveloped in the boob area and DH's arms start to ache after a while

LePinot · 12/06/2012 20:58

ARF @ "bog boobed" in my earlier post

Well quite :o

AnyFucker · 12/06/2012 21:48

my boobs could definitely be described as a bit "squishy" but boggy ? Not quite.. Grin

smokinaces · 12/06/2012 21:56

I am big boobed and have worn a thick jersey crop top style "bra" for years. Only thing is, they are now so old they are covered in holes :-( But I just cant find any replacements that are comfortable. I dont like the all in one "supportive" vests (they arent) and the current range of crop tops in Primark (where the originals came from) have thin straps that dig in everywhere.

Any ideas?!

SparkyDuchess · 12/06/2012 21:56

I almost never wear a bra, and certainly not at night - but they're small enough that it's no big deal.

Anyfucker - the idea of wearing a bra but no knickers makes me feel all funny, I think I'd feel more naked than if I had nothing on at all.thats weird, isn't it...
