Thank you! Maybe something to do with becoming a mum in the last year, I want to treat myself to new clothes and am suddenly interested in knowing my "season"?!!?

Can anyone help? I've posted a few pics on my profile - let me know they are visible!

Itdidnt: I do like navy a lot, and what is even better, I think it suits me. My hair is a bit Scandinavian grey, at least in the winter, and I have been afraid of all shades of grey because of that. Sorry OP for hijack!

This is not something I have thought much before as I'm very comfortable in my style, but after all this colour stuff I just started thinking it might do good to explore a little. Right, charcoal next then!

Just had a look at DonaAna's link and I can honestly say I have no idea what season or colour type I am Grin. It's just so confusing. I've got medium/dark brown hair, grey eyes and pale skin. I love bright colours like turquoise, teal, magenta and purple, with navy as a neutral colour, and those colours really suit me. On the other hand black doesn't suit me at all, nor does beige. Any ideas?

I couldn't self-analyze myself. Could work out that I'm either a Summer or a Spring - turns out I'm a Light Summer and can wear some of both. And have gotten so many compliments after that tha really believe the color analyst was right. Worth consulting a professional - it's not always obvious. My skin has no clear undertone, my veins are both blue and green, my jewellery is silver and platinum but pale gold clothes look really good on me...

Hijack away!

Definitely better to get the drapes, so hard to predict otherwise. You just don't know until you see the colours by your face!

Even trained consultants can't 'guess' accurately without sitting you in front of the mirror - sometimes we get surprises when the drapes are out!

MotherSeal and HerMajestyQueenHillyzabethII, I did my training last year to become a consultant with House of Colour and absolutely loved it. Had looked into other options before choosing House of Colour and they seemed to give the best and most detailed training. Training is pretty intensive (phoned my husband whilst I was away telling him it was harder than my law degree!!) ...but worth it...
