The hooters would take someone's eye out in this, though the price is right.

Rabid · 13/06/2012 11:11

Rabid · 13/06/2012 11:14

A leather skirt ?!!!

LePinot · 13/06/2012 11:19

Yes, nice cream colour - v modern.
Flimsy top so a nice contrast.
Tons of wear out of both after.

Not about dresses but a tip -
If you have passes for the Leander Club, get a table by the bar with a view of the boathouse as the lovely young gentlement have to carry their boats out and very often strip to the waist to do it. Sod watching the rowing.
Have spent many a happy afternoon with jugs of Pimms rating the teams - make sure you have dark glasses on so no one knows where you eyes are straying!! Is there a dirty (oldish) woman emoticon?

Dresses - have seen some women tug their dresses down and sort of crouch walk a bit going through the enclosure - they are quite strict!

Also recommend having a wander down towards the starting line - don't just stay in the enclosures - some lovely pop up shops, Pimms bus etc.

We usually have a picnic space on the river with a load of friends and just wander down to the club for an hour or so - just a very nice English day out.
(Hopes rain keeps off this year).

noddyholder · 13/06/2012 12:24

God I was on ipad it is paloma and pot belly not ellie! It is not teh sort of thing you would look at on teh hanger but v nice she has similar colouring to you i think quite dark but not mediteranean

noddyholder · 13/06/2012 12:26

Leather skirt risky could go either way depending on if you are brave enough to be really fashionny otherwise a bit barbara windsor

LePinot · 13/06/2012 16:14

lolol Babs Windsor. Keep your bra on, Rabid. I think black leather a bit 'apples and pears' but I saw white leather ones in Elle (think it was Chanel catwalks) and they looked super modern. Very Charlize Theron or Diane Kruger. God I love Diane Kruger. She wore cream leather A line skirt with a metallic belt and a black vest top, hair pulled back into a ballerinas bun. I swooned. Proper style crush.

I digress.

Rabid · 13/06/2012 16:16
