What is a BB cream? Have seen adverts for a BB cream all day, seen them mentioned in magazines but no idea what it/they is/are!

I have very dry skin and I use the Garnier one - with full moisturiser and sunscreen on underneath! I like it - I found it a bit orange but I use No7 primer underneath which is very white and that tones it down. It seems that BB cream is like every other cosmetic - some people love it, some people loathe it Smile

yeh it really depends on skin type, of course. Can't believe you used moisturiser with it too, Lotta'! But as I said..skin type. I just looked like a chip pan Blush

I am just having a look into these as I am on a mission to look better.

I have come across lots of good reviews of Korean bb creams and these are supposed to be far superior to anything we can get on the highstreet.

has anyone used any of these?

I am very pale with some redness on my cheeks, some large pores on my nose and chin with the occasional breakout on my chin I sound stunning I find tinted moisturisers heavy on my skin and the Liz earle and body shop one go orange on me now. I just want to find something that looks good!

'Can't believe you used moisturiser with it too, Lotta'!'

I really did lololizzy - Astral too, proper gunky stuff. I love it. Somedays I even wear a couple of drops of almond oil underneath it. I must have the driest skin known to humanity Grin

Cutitout, I've just started using a Korean BB cream, bought from a seller on eBay that someone on here recommended ( big thank you ). I'm very pale and thought a lot of the BBs available on the High St sounded much too orange for me - I bought a Holika Holika jelly BB cream in the lighter shade and I love it, it's an excellent shade with very natural and light coverage and my skin feels really soft - I'm well impressed. ( I also bought one for 13 year old dd, she's equally impressed and it enhances her own skin in a very natural ' non-make-up' kind of way )

thanks for the tip Msarse. I have gone with the holika moisture as my skin is really dry at the moment from all the peeling and creams I keep buying due to mn Blush will report back with results.

that is also the ebay seller I went with as they had good reviews on other forums as well.

She is really good, Cutitout, the parcel only took just over a week to arrive and she sends a load of samples too ( including a sachet of snail something or over which will be heading for the bin ).
