I just think its against my religion.
Either lose some weight or buy something that fits ur suits.
I've flirted with large pants that give me an unattractive prosthetic air once , but then I think FFs I am not apologizing for myself, and leave at home.
On the other thread someone wears them to work !!
Isn't life tough enough without a corset ?

Jnice, mine are from M&S. They don't do the exact ones I have anymore. Just go for whatever the strongest material is! My babies were all big too. Takes a long time post birth for a tummy to recover from a 10lb plus offspring .......till then it will all just have to be sucked in!

Jnice · 14/05/2012 22:11

Is it possible to get something that just goes around my tummy, not pants or top? Like a belly support.

trixymalixy · 14/05/2012 22:38

here I have something similar, but I don't really rate it tbh. I prefer the all in one type.

HillyWallaby I absolutely agree with you on the shirts and ties and shaving thing.

Society is a bitch.

It's also so true (and disappointing) that people think their opinion is enlightened because of their own personal experiences and prejudice. Due to my experiences I have far more empathy and sympathy for someone that wears shapewear to boost their confidence than someone who suggests that people should "just lose weight".

sieglinde · 15/05/2012 09:39

Yes, arana, that's what I meant too. I think the OP was really weird to say that shapewear is sexist, so just lose weight.... It's not ABOUT weight loss so much as folds and sags, something weight loss anyhow makes a bit worse.
