Bodyshop - anything you particularly like ?

For reasons I won't bore you with, I need to buy something from bodyshop. Trouble is the last time I bought something from there I was 16 and I think it was apple bubble bath (showing my age now). I'm now 41 and less attracted to brightly coloured, smelly bubble bath.

So can anyone recommend a "can't do without" or "bodyshop does the best" item ?

The vitamin c moisturiser is lovely! £13 quid a bit overpriced but feels like sunshine on your face & smells gorgeousSmile

Amazed no-one has mentioned white musk range. Have loved it for 20 years. Vitamin E stuff also fab.

Lip and cheek stain is a copy of benetint- just as good and more practical packaging. Second the make up brushes too.

The green lipscrub thing is very good, also there is a little tea tree oil gel in a tube to dab on spots which I like.

Someone gave me a gift set of the Vitamin E range for Christmas, it was too harsh for my skin and irritated it. The day and night creams were OK but I had to bin the cleanser and toner.

Almost all my make up is from there.

I picked up a small bottle of perfume called White Musk Libertine. It's a

Pleasant fresh smell that doesn't smack you in the face with White Musk. It's only a stand by until I can pick up my usual day perfume and it doesn't last more than 2 hours but it's a pretty smell.

I am so upset - the passion fruit cleansing gel HAS been discontinued. My local branch has none left. Sad

The Body Shop just makes me feel so nostalgic. Those little bath gels that came in funny plastic balls, the smell of their cocoa butter, the baskets you could fill and have gift-wrapped with straw in - do they still do that? I associate it with Christmas somehow and feel compelled to buy a little something in there every year - usually just for myself.

Almond oil hand cream is really nice.

I have been recommended their eye make up remover in the past on this forum, but I have yet to try it.

ItsRoxie · 17/04/2012 19:35

Oh no, ronx, I love the passion fruit cleanser as well. Have stockpiled a few but it's not on their website now Sad.

I always buy BS items from their website - they regularly have multi-buy offers which aren't available in-store. Currently they're running an offer where you can save up to £45 if you spend £90 online (or save £25 iys £60, or save £10 iys £30), and they have free delivery codes often as well (currently only if you spend over £50). Can save loads if you use the codes during their sales or mix promo codes, I picked up loads of shower gels for about £1.30 each last time.

It's still there! Passion Fruit Cleansing Gel

You just have to put "passion fruit" in the search box rather than going to the "cleansers" category.
