I use clinique thirsty skin relief. About £30 a jar, lasts at least 2 months and used daily. Oil free which I need as combination spot prone but usually find other oil based moisturisers too greasy or oil free not good enough. I've used for 10 years it's fab I'd never change. Grin

Wow! Just come back, thanks all, I'm going to do a sweep of selfridges for tester freebies Blush to try before I buy!!

Elemis Pro Collagen Marine cream here too, sensitive skin, aged 47.

wildfig · 08/04/2012 11:46

I'm using an Avene SPF 20 moisturiser for day, with Avene's soothing serum underneath, then Liz Earle superskin oil at night with a bit of Skin Repair on the drier bits. The Avene range has calmed down my reactive skin quite a lot, and it's always in the 3 for 2 Boots promotions so v reasonable.

Sudaname · 08/04/2012 11:48

I am a natural beauty and have got my very own Boots the Chemist in my bathroom cupboard have never had to waste my money Grin.

I have also recently started using the Aldi one after reading been voted better than/as good as Boots Protect and Perfect which I have been using for years and is very good. The Aldi one is only £3 something though as opposed to £21 and I am finding it every bit as good so far.

neuroticmumof3 · 08/04/2012 18:28

I also use Elemis Pro Collagen Marine cream. It is ££ but I get mine free from BeautyExpert.co.uk using my Tesco clubcard vouchers. I'm 44 and have combination/acne prone skin.

IwoulddoPachacuti · 08/04/2012 18:30

Good old basic Nivea. I've used loads of moisturisers and still find this the best for my dry skin

alwaysrunninginheels · 08/04/2012 18:40

Neuroticmumof3- tesco vouchers for elemis?????? How have I missed this? Can you get all the elemis stuff with them?

Optimism · 08/04/2012 20:17

Exactly the same as mosschops - Liz Earle and Neal's Yard Rose Oil. I used to have dodgy eczema/dry/flaky patches and an oily forehead and nose but this combination seems to have sorted it out and I don't have any problems these days.

I also mix Dermalogica Solar Defense Booster (SPF30) with my Liz Earle for day time as it doesn't have any SPF of its own.

EllenParsons · 09/04/2012 00:09

I use Clinique dramatically different moisturising gel twice a day. I also use Clinique Moisture Surge and I really love that - nicest moisturiser I have ever used. I was using moisture surge twice a day but at the moment I am using some other random Clinique one (youth something? which I received in a Bonus Time gift bag) at night as it is a bit heavy for day time on my oily skin, but seems alright for the night.

I got a couple of sachets of a new Nivea pore refining moisturiser free through the post and found it quite good, especially for such a cheap one.

I am 25 and have oily skin.

gettingalifenow · 09/04/2012 00:14

I've used Oil of Olay every day since I was 18 - never had a reason to change (and that's over 30 years ago now...). (was Oil of Ulay when I started...)

PerryCombover · 09/04/2012 00:15

I use the Olay fragrance free serum and The 7 in 1 moisturiser for mature skin
I also use a SPF 30 with UVA and UVB protection in the morning

PerryCombover · 09/04/2012 01:06

The Clinique super city block does a good job as a primer and is much cheaper than the MAC one cyb is talking about
I use super goop am stuff and I find it great

1gglePiggle · 09/04/2012 09:05

I bought Neals yard rose day moisturiser with spf50 and I really want to like it but it's not moisturising enough, a bit thick and sticky, hard to smooth across face. Shame as it wasn't cheap!

I used to use neutrogena pore refining cream which was amazing but discontinued and I've now run out of my USA stock so am also looking for a new moisturiser. The Nivea pore refining one sounds good, may take a look at that.

LumpyLatimer · 09/04/2012 09:10

I'm doing the oil cleansing method.

I'm 32, and have pale, sensitive spot-prone easily scarred skin.

After I've cleansed, I use another drop or two of the oils as moisturiser.

Realise I keep arsing on about this but this is the first time in my life I've had nice skin Grin

And it's cheap so there's money left over for baubles and trinkets. Win!

yellowdandelion · 09/04/2012 09:11

I use origins 'starting over' (the oil free one). It's not cheap but great on my combination skin.

PerryCombover · 09/04/2012 09:25

Just to mention the oil cleansing method was hell on my skin
Good for some but def not for all

minibmw2010 · 09/04/2012 10:24

I use the Sanctuary Deep Cleanse Facial with a pore refining toner and their Moisture Lotion SPF15 for day with their Therapists Secret Facial Oil for night. All can be bought via Boots or direct from the Sanctuary.

I would consider them middle of the road price wise and Boots often do a 3 for 2 offer Smile

Stay123 · 26/04/2012 10:41

Harley Street Calendula gel. My spotty sensitive skin can't really tolerate moisturisers or a lot of essential oils and this calms it down adn doesn't clog it up.

MonaLotte · 26/04/2012 13:13

I am using Estée Lauder Idealist serum (the even skin tone one), with the Day Wear Lotion for Oily skin. It has really helped my acne. Even DH noticed so it must be good!

Krumbum · 01/05/2012 13:13

Boots simply sensitive protecting day moisturiser SPF 15.

Firsttimer7259 · 01/05/2012 15:36

Lidl nightcream, superdrug vit E cream for day - slightly tinted whihc is good. Plus I buy jojoba oil from the health shop. Its cheap, skin is good -ish or as good as it was with the more expensive stuff tbh

itdidntworkout · 01/05/2012 15:54

Pure organic coconut oil followed by SPF 50.

Pinkglow · 01/05/2012 16:25

am awaiting an order for Elemis Pro Collagen Marine cream but at the moment I use Garnier night cream at night and body shop vitamin C for the day.

The body shop one has a horrible smell but it has a SPF of 30 so Im trying that out in time for the summer.

PoohBearsHole · 01/05/2012 16:30

I have been using this on recommendation from a pharmacist in France when I got a little bit red in some unexpected sun. It is light but effective and it isn't green like some red reducing ones iyswim. In fact I am not entirely sure why it is for reducing the red but it is very nice all the same and smells yum
