PinkFlipFLop, that dress and tights combo is great. But I don't think you need to be too rigid about what dresses to wear footless tights with; I wear footless all the time and just think of them as standard 'tights'. Nodders I worked in Epsom, and surrounding environs.

Lots of polyester blouses with pussycat bows, LOTS of naval inspired tailoring. Lots of calf length split skirts

Not a single dress, it was ALL about the separates
