I think it is lovely, I think you have a cracking figure and could be a bit more daring.

maybe?

BillyBollyBandy · 30/03/2012 20:20

or one that isn't only available in a size 22

ThatGhastlyWoman · 30/03/2012 20:21

BillyBollyBandy - that is a fabulous dress. And I reckon it would be great with the OP's colouring, too. Only thing is, it could look a bit 'corporate' if not done properly?

ThatGhastlyWoman · 30/03/2012 20:22

Second one looked pretty good, too... until I saw the back. Did you notice it, Billy?

TuftyFinch · 30/03/2012 20:25

This is what someone told me once:
If a person says to you 'You look lovely' your clothes suit you.
If a person says 'I like your dress (or whatever)', they are seeing the article of clothing and not you.

I do sort of agree with Hectate. But then I'm wearing a pair of massive, old Levis (I'm not massive) and a tiny cashmere jumper. And crocs.

BillyBollyBandy · 30/03/2012 20:25

I didn't TGW

What is it with DP's and bloody great big zips!

runningforthebusinheels · 30/03/2012 20:30

I love that jade DP dress - although not the zip. That doesn't totally spoil it for me though - I'd still get the dress.

mosschops30 · 30/03/2012 20:43

Agree the jade one is ruined by the zip, makes it look trashy.
The navy peplum is gorgeous but not sure its a 'nite out in town' dress.

Cant understand why anyone has mentioned my hair Smile maybe it looks better cos ive got shades on the top of my head.

So do we have a yes vote on the Zara one? Or not? I was thinking of putting it with fabulous gold high heels sandas (sound awful but they are delicious) and gold bag

TBF mosschops you would have to put on a few stone for the navy dress and I think that is a fashion step too far (only available in a size22)

runningforthebusinheels · 30/03/2012 20:50

Yes, I vote Zara dress.

ThatGhastlyWoman · 30/03/2012 20:52

Oh, duh. Didn't notice the size 22 thing.

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/03/2012 21:09

I like it but I think you have a fab figure that could be shown off!.

mosschops30 · 30/03/2012 21:10

Its not fab i can assure you (especially naked) Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/03/2012 21:31

Oh we all have bits we dont like.

I'm a size 8 and I still have cellulite! remember in years to come you will look back and think "actually I looked great and didnt realise it".

KristinaGoesWest · 31/03/2012 09:53

Yes, def - I do like the Zara one better. You have an amazing figure and belt works well highlighting your waist. Plus, and as many has noticed, the shade works well with your colour palette. All you need now is few cracking accessories.

jan2011 · 31/03/2012 10:42

well what did you go for

mosschops30 · 31/03/2012 18:29

I bought some new converse instead for me and dd Grin slightly over budget admittedly.
Tried Zara dress on, dd said it looked 'too young' and my knees were odd Hmm but at least shes honest.
So i am dress-less wilk go out naked just in converse and a handbag Biscuit
