Need a handbag, have up to about £400 to splurge, any ideas?

I've saved for ages and my bags are all cheap and falling apart. I'd love most of the bags from Mulberry but they're out of my price range. Any ideas? Just a decent sized handbag, I like strong colours but I'm not too fussed. Not for work, just for shopping, the odd restaurant, day out etc.

marisotto I too lus t after mulberry.....but why follow the crowd? Love Lulu Guiness and Modalu bags myself. Bit diff.nice quality.

I love this John Lewis bag. The long cross body straps are detachable. It has a nice slouchy hobo look, no obvious branding and an amazing price!

Someone recommended Dooney on here a while ago. Lovely bags and loads of different shapes/styles.

I saw this, Paul Smith in a shop the otherday, it was lovely, in the flesh - better than it looks in the pic.

I love Coach bags, but they only have stores in London and I'm nowhere near! Anyone got any ideas how to order one? The US website doesn't ship to the UK

Go to a Mulberry factory shop, theres five i think all over the uk. U'll bag a bargain in there...

I bought my Mulberry Bayswater in Oak from Cheshire Oaks in September for £374! It's definitely worth checking out the outlets.
