My legs are trembling. I thought I was going to die.

May I ask what weights you all use please? Am currently employing bean cans (reduced sugar natch) but think I need to invest in some hand weights ... Thanks

TheSpreadingChestnutTree · 15/01/2012 11:45

Mine's been despatched from amazon

HazleNutt · 15/01/2012 11:56

I have an adjustable set of weights, but you can also get the non-adjustable sets with several different weights, like this: www.sportsdirect.com/usa-pro-dumbbell-set-761062

TheGoldRoad · 15/01/2012 12:07

I got a pair of 1kg hand weights from Tesco for about £6.

I missed day 2 yesterday but my muscles are still aching ! I can't beleive something that is only (!) 20 minutes long is so effective!

cannotfindanickname · 17/01/2012 14:21

Is Level 2 a huge step up? have been doing level 1 for 6 days and stilll find bits of it hard going. I have to stop for about 5 secs during the skipping bit the first time it comes around (it seems easier later on). Can't do full press ups and only just managed today to get through the whole minute of the bicycle abs at the end. I did have two days off (wednesday because I went ice skating and my legs really hurt afterwards, and sunday because it is a family day and everyone would be home laughing at me). Not sure if I have any tone anywhere yet but have been really feeling it in my muscles so should have!

MissFoodie · 17/01/2012 14:26

After day 1 of level 1 on saturday I was unable to do it again, talk about sore thighs....! Did pilates instead, but no excuse today....
How long before it stopped hurting for 2 days afterwards???????!!!!!!!!!

bigTillyMint · 17/01/2012 14:28

MissFoodie, it was 4 days for me, but I did it each of those 4 days. I think you have to feel the pain and do it anyway Smile

abigboydidit · 17/01/2012 14:28

Am about to do it once DS goes for his afternoon nap. Am pretending to be hoping that the sound of me crashing around doesn't wake him up..

MissFoodie · 17/01/2012 14:36

bigtillymint, so after 4 days the pain subsided? and have you noticed a real difference? and is that with or without dieting?

bigTillyMint · 17/01/2012 14:44

I feel fitter and more flexible and can do the moves on level 2 the same as Anita on the whole, but no dieting and I don't think I look any different Sad

TreasureoftheSierraMadre · 17/01/2012 22:32

Right, I am morbidly unfit and very wobbly. In my mind's eye I am 5'10" and a size 10; really I am 5'4" and a size 16.

Is this going to kill me?

MissFoodie · 18/01/2012 10:03

the first day is the worst, apart from trying to work out what they're doing, you're trying to keep up; I was unable to do it days 2 and 3 as my thighs hurt so did Pilates instead, did it for 2nd time last night and it was definitely easier!

Can't speak on results as you have to give it a month at least, but it's better than doing nothing and very convenient as you can do it at home!

crazybutterflylady · 18/01/2012 11:34

I've just ordered this after seeing all the threads on here over the last few months. Am finally ready to shift this flab now PFB is into a good napping routine during the day. I've done Davina before and really enjoyed it. If I found Davina about a 7 out of 10 in terms of ouchness does this blow my scale out of the water?! I'm officially scared!
Also, what happens after the 30 days? Is there another DVD you move on to or do you start it again?

TreasureoftheSierraMadre · 18/01/2012 12:20

Thanks MissFoodie

I have ordered it and updated my will
