Is it possible to be a 32DD yet have 'small' boobs

Hmmmm. Not one of life's most profound questions I'll admit, but it sure is bugging me.

I've been 32A - 34E and everything in between owing to breastfeeding DD.

Been fitted in a few places recently and I'm now apparently a 32DD. Eh? I would consider myself to have small breasts tbh. I realise 32 is a smallish back size, but DD sounds mahoosive!

What's going on here. Have bra sizes really changed that much?

I am a 32E and don't consider myself as large either. Then again, I look at the cups on the airer and think they do look huge!!!

I recently got measured at Bravissimo...and they told me I was a 30F! That sounds ridiculously big, but I swear my boobs don't look big at all...it's really strange. My bra is so comfortable now...can't believe I'd been wearing such a drastically wrong band size and cup size for years. Recently tried on my 34 band bra, it felt so loose and as I felt I had no support, so it's really worth getting the right size.

Haven't RTFT but I went from a 36B to a 34DD (should be 32 but that seemed so tight!). I would never in my wildest imagines have thought I was a DD. Depends on bra style though, some are too big and gape, so you'll have to find what suits you best.

I'm a 32E according to john lewis last week and believe me they are NOTHING to write home about. it's a dark art the bras i bought fit brilliantly 🤷‍♀️

I have been measured as a 32FF at Braissimo and 34e at m and s but the 34 back is a bit too loose and a lady at Debenhams measured me as a 30FF/32F. sizing can vary in different stores/makes.

bra sizes have definitely changed over the years, in my teens and early 20s I was a 36D which fitted, today that would be a 30/32 enormous cup size. I'm now a 40F, according to the measuring pages I'm a 40HH but my boobs look like satsumas in a carrier bag in them so I went down in cup size to find one that fitted

I'm a 30ff and 6ft, my boobs look small to me, just a handful. My 5ft2 friend has the same size and they look huuuuuuuuge. How can that be!
