Scented candles as good as Jo Malone but less expensive?

I love the smell of Jo Malone candles, especially the pomegranate one but they are too expensive to be anything more than a luxury. Ive tried lots of others but they either dont have any scent or the scent doesnt last.

Does anyone know of a good alternative.

Honestly, if you want the premium quality of Jo Malone with deliciously natural scents and no synthetic fragrance. Try //www.celtic-candles.com They are made with essential oils

Have a look at these. She makes candles and wax melts that smell exactly like famous fragrances including jo malone. They are AMAZING!

Huge fan of Bog Standard here - funny name (Irish company) but they smell fab & they do free UK postage. I send them to friends all the time as presents as they come wrapped in a box.

Yet more cheers here for St Eval.

They do diffusers as well as candles, which is just as well as I have Bay & Rosemary on the go year-round. Superb example of British Business, too.

Parkminster candles are lovely - really good quality classy fragrance and burn beautifully. Not cheap but nowhere near Jo Malone prices http://parkminster.co.uk/collections/candles]

I'm a Diptyque nerd but I just finished True Grace Vine Tomato. It was absolutely nothing like vine tomatoes but a good ripe green scent, along the lines of Diptyque Figuier. Really powerful. I also really like the & Other Stories candles especially Vaxhuset and Kungholmstorg. They use the same perfumier as Byredo. Amazing, expensive-smelling woodsy smells for about £17, only drawback is the wick isn't quite long enough so they leave half a cm of wax in the bottom.

Coast Candles based in Dornoch do beautiful candles. I love Jo Malone and Jo Loves candles, but have found some amazing scents from Coast and they burn evenly.

Why so many deleted comments on a thread about candles!?

Anyway, I said this on another thread but Flamingo Candles are amazing! Discovered them just before Xmas and they're not too expensive.

Parks candles are lovely.
SecretSales often have them on sale.
Google them.
Max Benjamin are lovely too - their Mimosa one is gorgeous but I really dislike Pomegranate Noir so our taste is obviously different

Was gutted at Christmas when I bought my first Diptique candle and there was barely any throw. We have high ceilings but this was ridiculous. You could only smell it when you are standing right next to it. There was a stronger smell from my unlit John Lewis candle sitting near it.
