Have just purchased a pair of these

for £23 delivered. I used new customer code KGWELCOME10 which gives £20 off a 50 spend combined with the gift card on the front of this month's Elle magazine which gives 20 off ;)

Good Luck style troops.....seems to work on sale stuff BUT must be KG not other brands!!!

I have got bored of waiting for a return call and have found my boots at John Lewis for £142.50 which is better still. Originally £190 and would have come down to £150 if the flippin ELLE card worked. Free delivery too. Result.

So. I spoke to some person who said that both can't be used at the same time. I have no idea why they are so hopeless! Giving different information.

I said that others had heard that they can be, but woman denied it.

AND I have ordered the wrong things but they can't cancel.

I just ordered these in camel. I have a similar carvela pair in black which I love and wear all the time. Any I don't have any nude shoes, so I actually needed these!

If something was £100 and you use code and voucher you will get email saying £80, you will only pay £60. It treats the voucher as cash. I always try not to ring in case it flags up that people are using the code too and they start getting strict!

OK, my experience was slightly different to above - am posting just in case this helps anyone.

My Elle card was showing as balance £0.00 - I spoke to nice lady in customer services and she said you have to register card first at www.kurtgeiger/elle. This then loads your card with the £20. You may well all have been doing this already but it wasn't obvious to me

Then when ordering, enter kgwelcome code and apply, and click proceed. Entering card details here did nothing. Balance will show less £20, and then goes to select delivery, then balance will show plus delivery. However, just before I got to the bit for entering card details, it asked if I had a gift card. Entered the gift card code here, and the next £20 was discounted. Result!!!

Am delighted with my purchase, hope they fit!!!

Hope this helps if you are still having difficulties, and apologies if I am teaching you all to suck eggs...........

I am very impressed with speed and the lovely huge box they came in.

I got these boots in the end.

The price is different today, they were half price, not sure why.

So pretty good at either £80ish or £99 depending on how many discounts worked.

I only ordered mine last night so nothing yet.

My boots have arrived from John Lewis within 24 hours and I didn't pay any postage. I'm thrilled with them and would dearly love to get the black version too. Now wondering if the problem yesterday was because they turn out to be Carvella not KG. Thanks for the info Flossie.

Mine did come today, after ordering last night, but may have been due to a little expressed impatience on phone about KG website.

Have you lot visited the Shoeaholics website? They have loads of KG stuff dirt cheap. Service is really good too. I ordered some boots on a Weds eve and they arrived first thing on Friday.

Sorry, can't link. They are helpfully and imaginatively called Winter boots. Long suede, black or brown with a platform and wedge. Have been looking for something similar for a couple of years so it grieves me not to get the black while its available. Would ideally like a slightly higher wedge, but these feel very comfortable and secure to walk in.

i cant get the KG code to work, anyone else having problems? have my voucher from elle ready but really would like the other code to work as well, otherwise i will be overspending, again!!!

The shoeaholics site I linked to above has some long black suede Kurt Geiger platform boots called 'Waterloo' for £49. Is that them?

frazzled I read on MSE that the code has stopped working. Seems a bit unfair. And they've changed the T&C's so you can't buy a gift card with the elle card (lots of people were buying a £50 gift card with £20 elle card and £20 welcome discount - so £14 (inc P&P) for a £50 card to spend on anything!). Maybe you should wait as the card is valid for a year and see if the code starts working again or they do a new code, or just until there's something cheap you feel is worth the money.

Got my despatch email this evening so hopefully they'll come tomorrow. Although I'll be out all morning thinking about my shoes doing some training so might miss them!

mrsrhodgilbert what about these or these instead? ASOS often have codes floating about so you might get them cheaper.

I ordered some boots and although it showed up both discounts on the payment page, the confirmation page only showed one discount. They can't take more money than stated on the payment page can they?

Money is out of my account and both discounts have been applied. So should be ok for everyone. Good one Jammygal for posting codes.

I was granted the two discounts although it did not show up on confirmation (it looked like I had been charged more!) I have checked bank and was defo charged lower amount................so don't panic if this happened to you! Welcome code now NOT working so I am afraid it is just twenty off now with your gift card ;( Glad some of you got the 40 off but now most definitely down to 20 off!!!

I emailed KG about it and they emailed back to confirm that both discounts had been applied even though only one showed up on the confirmation email.

Aaaaargh! My shoes just arrived and I love them, except for the fact they're faulty. They're these ones. The platform bit is obviously a piece of suedette wrapped around a piece of paper or card, and on one shoe you can see the paper at the end, sort of where my instep is. The worst thing is the paper is White with blue writing so it's quite obvious.

And now they have none in stock in my size!

Oh dear, that doesn't help because now I'm considering buying them from there! I could justify the £23 after the discounts but £59 is a bit steep for me.

I'm going to email them anyway and see what they say.

Oh KWL now you've done it! I ordered a pair of Miss KG ones which arrived today & are gorgeous. But I also covet the leopard ones of the ones you got but hadn't done anything as they are Nine West. When did you order them to get the £40 discount, recently or at the start of the week before they said you couldn't combine the two? Don't know whether to go out & buy another Elle & do it in my Mum's name!
