Make remover for HIGHLY sensitive skin.

Anyone have any recommendations? I've given up wearing make up as i get ezcema under my eyes after a couple of days. I think it's removing make up. I've tried several brands and just very mild soap and water. It's driving me nuts, i've even had to stop using the Boots Protect & Perfect serum as that started to react too and am now on a stupidly expensive moisturiser.

Anyone with a trusted product or recommendation?

Liz Earle cleanse and polish is very gentle and I believe her products are ok for those with ezcema. Her moisturiser is very healing as well. You can buy a mini sizes kit on her website quite cheaply so may be worth a try.

Dermalogica Ultra Calming Cleanser.

I have eczema and skin which is super sensitive to more or less everything and I suffered really badly before I discovered Dermalogica several years ago.

I like Eve Lom. It's pricey but lasts forever. I get really bad eczema on my face, and it definitely helps. I thought the muslin cloth might be too harsh, but it seems to be fine.

Someone else mentioned Eve Lom today. I'd NEVER heard of it but apparently it's in all the mags as the best etc. I'll give the others a go first as i don't want to get addicted to yet another expensive potion!

You can get a tester pack for about £25 I think It lasted me ages.

Also recommend Clinique gentle cream cleanser.

REN is fab. I recommend their rose oil serum.. gorgeous and so soothing.

Oh yes..Ren is lovely too, especially the rose oil serum. The rose shower gel is my special pampering treat because it's the only luxurious product I can use on my body and it's a lovely change from aqueous cream which I use the rest of the time for washing.

I get eczema on my eyelids. I recently bought a Naked moisturiser (you can get it in Superdrug) and it has been brilliant on my eyes. They also have a makeup remover so that might be good for you? I also use their shampoo/conditioner which has helped my eyes too (if you think about how much runs down your face when you are washing your hair in the shower). And I am back to wearing makeup on my eyes again!

I'm reading this with interest, I also get really bad eczema on my eyes. I use Eve Lom cleanser and it is fine. I've tried quite a few different cleansers and Eve Lom is the one I tolerate the best. Anything in wipe form is a complete disaster!
Protect and perfect is a big no-no, I used the eye serum and ended up with what looked like burns! The same with anything from Olay!

I can use Costco unfragranced baby wipes on my eyes!

Seymore - can you now wear make up daily? I only ask a wipes are the same as using an acid soaked brillo pad for me and the P&P also 'burnt' me.

I've never got on with wipes of any variety either. And I wasn't impressed by Eve Lom. I was given a sample of the cleanser and moisturiser and didn't think it was worth the money at all.

It's only since discovering Dermalogica that I can wear eye make-up daily.

Look at the La Roche Posay range. Lots of different types of cleansers for every type of skin.

I was having problems with dry sensitive skin and used the Micellar Solution in the Physiological range and found it very gentle.

I use organic type stuff because of previous similar problems. At the moment i use Madara cleanser: the one I have is a foaming facial wash, which removes all makeup no problems and feels nice and clean. Reasonably priced too: lasts ages.

Have you tried the Trilogy Very Gentle range? They do a cream cleanser, calming fluid and moisturiser. I have sensitive skin which became extremely sensitive when I was pregnant and found Trilogy brilliant. Not particularly cheap, though.

Waitrose baby bottom butter for me....use like eve lom with a muslin - which is brilliant for m but pricy. Baby bottom butter is a couple of quid. I react badly to Liz Earle

I use Waitrose baby bottom stuff as a make up remover too. Excellent at removing waterproof mascara! Only about £2.50 too.

Cetaphil cleanser, sold in chemists for about £8 a bottle, or in Asda for £4. Great, mild stuff. They also do a moisturiser,

I have Eczema around my eyes too, and found that even Liz Earle was too harsh for my skin, I started using Trilogy's very gentle cleansing cream and it has been brilliant for me. I remove it using the hot cloth method and my skin is lovely and soft and I rarely get an eczema breakout now.

I have really sensitive skin, but somehow cheap and cheerful Oil of Olaz eye make up remover (cream in a tube, cheapo) is great for me.

Usually i use REN products for sensitive skin, but this is the only stuff I put anywhere near my eyes.

Don'tTell yep I wear make-up every day on my eyes. Just concealer on my eyelids and under-eyes (I've got bad dark circles), eye pencil and mascara and my skin is fine. I can't wear eyeshadow daily though, that would give me eczema! Every now and again is fine though.

Right, so i'm going to try Eve Rom as Seymore had a similar reaction to the P&P stuff. If thast fails, i'll hae a grateful mate that i'll off load it to.
