here

do you like it?

i love it! am getting my hair cut next week. have short hair already, and have face shape which could cope with it if i lost 3 stone.

i just want to know what other women think of it.

am in late 30s if it matters.

I think it looks lovely, although most styles would look lovely on her. I can't carry off short hair without looking like my mum. I am always envious of those who can.

When I have short hair it takes an AGE to style 'just the way I like it' - that's fine though, because I'm very pernickety about my hair & made time for it, I also made sure I washed it every day. DM's looks like that sort of cut. That's no Wash 'n' Go hairstyle!

AnyFucker · 21/09/2011 17:18

A good cut should do away with having to spend ages styling your short hair

I just finger dry mine...it takes 2 minutes with a hot hairdryer and then run some wax through

voila

baguettecut · 21/09/2011 17:27

A good cut means you can do whatever you like with it. I just really enjoy spending longer on mine. C'est la vie! Smile

By the way, if anyone here has very short bleached hair, there is nothing to beat Aveda's pomade. I may just have my hair cut short again so I can use it, it's divine and smells wonderful!

AnyFucker · 21/09/2011 17:33

C'est la vie indeed! I am a lazy bugger Grin

Shutupanddrive · 21/09/2011 18:46

I don't like it, i think it looked better before

chimchar · 26/09/2011 13:17

just to update in case anyone is interested..... i had my hair well and truely chopped today!

kept the fringe longer than dannis stylee as a bit of a hide away, and am really pleased.

so yayyyy to all those who love short hair and a pokey tongue to all those who don't! WinkGrin

Ah, but Anyfucker, you are gamine, aren't you? I can imagine the short look really suiting you and looking chic. But it doesn't have quite the same effect on busty blousey blondes- for some women over thirty, short hair is an instant ticket to Frumpsville.

LeBOF · 26/09/2011 13:30

Missed your update, chim- so pleased you like it, good for you!

OracleInaCoracle · 26/09/2011 13:35

i love it, i love short hair!

pic please!

ReindeerBollocks · 26/09/2011 13:40

My mum has always had hair like this (well less styled than Danni) but I can't stand it. Maybe I am trying too hard to not turn into my mum. To add insult to injury my mum dyed her hair a jazzy red recently.

Pixie crops can look amazing though, I like Emma Watsons new do, and think if styled correctly that crop can add elegance and sophistication to a woman's overall appearance.

bemybebe · 26/09/2011 13:43

I love it, very cute.

chimchar · 26/09/2011 13:44

thanks bof.

lissie...NO CHANCE!!!

would actually love to put a pic up, but am not that brave....if you all think i look like a bag o shite, i'll cry and cant do anything about it! equally, dont want you all to tell me i look great just because you feel you ought to. Wink
