I agree EV. I feel depressed when I walk Into the shops and see all the dull, dull clothing on offer.

Ifancyashandy · 01/09/2011 06:53

Zara have got loads of navy and green - often together. And it works!

EustaciaVye · 01/09/2011 08:18

Ooh, I can do Navy and Green :)

Ok, I just bought a teal top and (suprisingly) an orange woollen dress which is lovely.

Can't see those mustardy colours without thinking of filled nappies, yuk.

On a cheerier note, as mentioned below, boozy colours are also in. I LIKE those, and they must be long overdue for a revival - it's a long time since burgundy pixie boots were de rigeur.

Boozy colours

Wahahahahaaa!. I look delightful in mustard and rust. I shall have to kit myself out and then stand next to you to show how nice they can look Grin

EustaciaVye · 05/09/2011 17:21

oooh, I have a burgundy red handbag. Will dig out.

NarkyPuffin - yes admittedly my dislike is fuelled by the fact that they don't suit ME. But they do suit some people very well, I'm sure you look vibrant and lovely Grin

QueenOfAllBiscuitsandMuffins · 05/09/2011 17:38

If anyone sees a rust coloured scarf pls point me in that direction. Ta.

pointydog · 05/09/2011 17:48

You;ve got the mustard and rust for the heritage look. Barf.

But you can still find big mix of colours in teh shops. Not too hard to avoid mustard and elbow patches.

pissedrightoff · 05/09/2011 18:05

Does burgundy suit pale skinned and mousy highlighted hair? (Am in the process of going blonde)

Jbck · 05/09/2011 18:15

Went looking for some winter stuff for DD2 on Saturday and Next was like a sludge fest for small girls. Even DH who notices nothing commented so it's even filtered down to 3 year olds.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 05/09/2011 18:21

I look amazing in mustard, draw the line at american tan though, what's that all about?

LiveYourBestLife · 06/09/2011 01:38

Fashion is suffering from schizophrenia at the moment.

[Hmm]

Fo0ffyShmoofer · 06/09/2011 14:25

Can't say I like it. It all looks like varying shades of poo.

Would imagine it would have to be something of excellent quality as I think those colours lend themselves to looking cheap.

OctonautsOnRepeat · 06/09/2011 14:25

What's that supposed to mean Liveyourbestlife ?

queenmaeve · 06/09/2011 18:56

I like the mustard with navy. But the rest of it looks like a grannys wardrobe

GloriaVanderbilt · 06/09/2011 19:02

Oh I must be in then. I've been wearing a pair of ochre trousers and a rust/orange/whatever cardi all day. I keep catching sight of myself and thinking 'what the actual jeff made you put those on together'

It looks grim.
