I agree EV. I feel depressed when I walk Into the shops and see all the dull, dull clothing on offer.

Zara have got loads of navy and green - often together. And it works!

Ok, I just bought a teal top and (suprisingly) an orange woollen dress which is lovely.

Can't see those mustardy colours without thinking of filled nappies, yuk.

On a cheerier note, as mentioned below, boozy colours are also in. I LIKE those, and they must be long overdue for a revival - it's a long time since burgundy pixie boots were de rigeur.

But you can still find big mix of colours in teh shops. Not too hard to avoid mustard and elbow patches.

Went looking for some winter stuff for DD2 on Saturday and Next was like a sludge fest for small girls. Even DH who notices nothing commented so it's even filtered down to 3 year olds.

Would imagine it would have to be something of excellent quality as I think those colours lend themselves to looking cheap.
