yes, and orange. Blurgh.

luxuryhamper · 31/08/2011 11:00

i don't mind rusty colours but prefer deeper mulberry which is also everywhere, much more flattering

EustaciaVye · 31/08/2011 11:00

Does mustard suit anyone who doesnt have luscious chocolate brown skin (not me)?

scurryfunge · 31/08/2011 11:00

It is all very Angela Rippon.

EustaciaVye · 31/08/2011 11:01

I suit bright reds, greens and blues. How am I going to make my wardrobe look remotely fashionable?

worldgonecrazy · 31/08/2011 11:01

I love rust and deep ruby reds, so I'm loving the autumn colours. Not so keen on mustard though.

iklboo · 31/08/2011 11:02

So...Star Trek uniforms for the Xmas party this year then?

luxuryhamper · 31/08/2011 11:04

bright colours are also everywhere though aren;t they, especially jeans

EustaciaVye · 31/08/2011 11:07

I've been away a few weeks and not near any shops. having just been into town all I could see was a sea of rust and mustard.

I can do ruby red, but not mulberry as it doesnt suit me.

Having had my colours done in the past, it is a CURSE, I tell you....No more can I wear something ghastly in blissful ignorance. It has made me halve me annual shopping budget Hmm

I will be doing orange in the form of a bag but as for mustard...yuk!

Zwitterion · 31/08/2011 12:20

I love mustard and orange, really suits me so I'm liking all this!

EustaciaVye · 31/08/2011 12:39

I can do brown and teal. That will have to be my limit though.

ellangirl · 31/08/2011 12:59

Awful colours for me, I agree with eustacia!

Verso · 31/08/2011 13:16

I love mustard (ochre?!), rust and orange so am really pleased at all the choice in the shops (although I'm on a spending diet right now so need to window shop only for a bit!)

SinicalSal · 31/08/2011 13:18

what about deep peaches and corals? I got a dark coral jacket which I think suits me.

member · 31/08/2011 13:24

This was exactly the reaction I had; it's not a nice orangey rust either, it's sludgy & on peg-leg chinos. Not wild on the crepe soles either.

PaigeTurner · 31/08/2011 19:09

Lots of 'American Tan' stuff too, if you want to dress up as a big, sloppy shit.

vesela · 31/08/2011 19:20

I love the orange and pink they have together in H&M. Seriously, it looks excellent the way they've put it together.

MonkeyJungleConga · 31/08/2011 19:20

Hate them both but they look great on me. Hmm

iklboo · 31/08/2011 19:27

If I wear orange I look like the forgotten Xmas satsuma. You know, the one you find about May......

AutumnWitch · 31/08/2011 21:34

I'd never normally touch mustard in a million years, but this picture from the jigsaw site (second image in) convinced me to try it. I bagged a cheap long sleeve top from new look which seems to work under more sane colours.

Still avoiding rust though...

MissVerinder · 31/08/2011 21:59

I can do rust, but mustard+oliveskin=worried mother!

"Are you alright? You look dreadful!"

kickassangel · 01/09/2011 03:27

but if the 'in' colours don't suit you, aren't you just supposed to do touches/accessories?

summer colours aren't good on me, so I get a bright (idh) summery bag & nail varnish, maybe a bit of cheap jewellery, then use more neutral colors with it. also much cheaper

tryingtoleave · 01/09/2011 04:33

I love mustard and I am fair with brown hair. I'm wearing a mustard top today, even though it's not really in here yet.
