ILike - a Crugg mebbe?

Not a mumboot but not high heeled either.

virgo1979 · 31/08/2011 17:09

I bought some 'mum' boots, very similar to the ones in OP when I was pregnant, as compared to my usual heels, I still felt stable when walking in them. Don't know where they are now though...honest.

OriginalPoster · 31/08/2011 17:16

Yea, I also have a long version.

What should I be wearing? Genuine question?

msbuggywinkle · 31/08/2011 17:17

I have real (as in from Texas) cowboy boots. I adore them, they are amazing looking and nothing can get in to them!

Also have victorian style knee high black boots, but I don't wear them very often.

tethersend · 31/08/2011 17:23

You do all know that the biker boot is fast becoming the mumboot of choice, don't you? Wink

BerryLellow · 31/08/2011 17:27

I have no mumboots

I do have a pair of brown O2 boots that I feel a bit mum in. I mostly wear Celts tbh.

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 31/08/2011 21:50

No I don't.

I have flat brown mid-calf bikers, and a pair of black knee-length with a heel.

In a wardrobe tidy the other day, I also unearthed a pair of slouchy brown ankle boots with a cone heel, and a pair of black pointy-toed, high-heeled ankle boots. I'm wondering if they might be ok and therefore I don't need any new ankle boots this winter.

MyGoldfishIsEvil · 31/08/2011 22:00

I recently unearthed an pair of super-stiletto ankle boots, very high, black with a very pointy toe. Can't imagine doing the school run in those.

FrameyMcFrame · 31/08/2011 22:12

Thanks Patty, I know the ones you speak of Grin

CointreauVersial · 01/09/2011 00:08

Ha OP, talking about schooldays again?

CakeandRoses · 01/09/2011 00:26

tatty i'll see your fake suede foot glove ankle boots and raise you a 'just below the knee' pair of them.

i'm not usually a mumsbooter, this pair had been in my wardrobe unworn for years but now they're one of the few legal items left as most of my wardrobe has been outlawed since i had my colours analysed.

PerryCombover · 01/09/2011 00:46

I actually like [http://direct.asda.com/george/shoes/wedged-ankle-boots/GEM72318,default,pd.html?cm_mmc=Affiliate--AWin--George-_-Deeplink these] mum boots or not

mathanxiety · 01/09/2011 02:59

Moonstorm, I LOVE those Clark's boots.

NorksAreMessy · 01/09/2011 03:00

EEEK!
They rally a awful those Mum boots. And I really did used to have a pair of Russell and Bromley ones (from charity shop, £5) but I couldn't make myself wear them. They just made me feel frumpy and uncomfortable.

Sold them on eBay for £10.75

Never again

moonstorm · 01/09/2011 10:31

Thank you mathanxiety Grin

Bogeyface · 01/09/2011 11:09

I am wearing mine, right now Shock

I have long suspected I need to get rid so thats it, decision made!

NorksAreMessy · 01/09/2011 14:38

well done bogey you know you will feel better when you have released them into the wild

MrsRobertDuvall · 01/09/2011 14:42

I have not one but two pairs of Mumsboots.
Disclaimer...when you're size 9 sometimes you get desperate.
I realise I just can't wear them anymore...what if I met cyb in Kingston?
So will eBay them.
Do I list them as Mum boots?

BleurghUna · 01/09/2011 17:10

NO I HAVE NOT MUM BOOTS

orangina · 01/09/2011 17:14

Didn't we all have this VERY discussion about this VERY SAME pair of boots about 6 months ago?

I think it moved swiftly into 'toggles on shoes' territory.....
