I need a new purse. My current one (Mandarina Duck black) is over 10 years old and looking very worn.

I am tempted by a Mulberry one but not sure how they wear.

I don't think I'd pay more than a hundred for a purse though

I have a nice Osprey leather purse (its quite big) that I got in TK Maxx for £20. They always have one or two in my local store, and I always have a look for purses there before I look elsewhere.

I have this one though it cost a bit more than £6 when I bought it from John Lewis; probably around £30- I think I've had it about 2 years now and it still looks new.

I like it because it has plenty of card compartments and space for receipts and staff, and because the coin section & the notes section are in the same opening. With my last purse, which was lovely in every other respect, I had to open two different zips to get at coins and notes.

I aso like it because it's purple....

I have a Mulberry purse which is at least 5 years old and still looks as good as when DH bought it for me. I also have a Dior purse and a Patrick Cox one which I use now and again for holidays or as the fancy takes me but I would totally recommend the Mulberry one, it still makes me happy to see and hold it despite it being totally practical.
