HAHA! Just seen MrsD's comment about 'my dated being her vintage' Yes! totally know where you are coming from on that.

I started a thread about this on chat - didn't know this one was here. I think she looks lovely, even with the 'dated' frill round the bottom.

Pregnant or not, I don't like Lily's dress and the veil is like something from Dr Who. But it's her day and she can what she likes.

Anyway, the best thing a bride can wear is a big smile and you can tell she has something to be very happy about.

Given that Miquita Oliver isn't pregnant nor has had any publicised personal tragedy recently... can we rip her HORRENDOUS dress/shoes combo to shreds? I wonder if it's meant to be ironic? You know, put your bridesmaid in peach and fugly shoes so she doesn't take the shine off you? Seriously, I'd love to know what the thinking was behind the black sandals. And that split needs pixellating for decency!

Gosh I think it's gorgeous, every bit of it.

Don't like lace,and don't like the deep hem thing on the skirt, but she could wear anything and make it work, and it does.
Also, really pleased that its not shoulderless .Can't stand all those heaving breasts with no visiable means of support. It looks so uncomfrtable.
Its a pretty ,dignified and is totally in keeping with her style.

I was staying at the same hotel as the wedding party and there was some sights. The sister didn't look to bad in real life, although she had some hideous orange shoes on. The bridesmaid dresses looked really cheap and you could see their underwear. All of them had incredibly strange chunky shoes on. It was very obvious that lily was pregnant. The little bridemaids had very cute lace dresses on.

I think she looks lovely - these pics are more flattering than the ones the site published earlier. And it's great news that she's pregnant.

I quite like it after seeing it a few times. The overall effect is very pretty. Think it would've looked better if it was more nipped in under the bust - tho maybe not possible if she is pg. Always nice to see a change from the 'wrapped a bedsheet round myself' strapless dresses.

Can't believe what her sister is wearing though - it would be terrible on anyone, but on someone who owns a boutique and does clothes for a living?! That dress was a protest IMO.

The lace business on top is a bit Kate Middleton which in turn is a bit Queen Victoria's wedding. The dress also looks a bot vintage which Lily's into. the skirt looks very 70s. I'm sure it was all very considered.

I think she looks lovely. Her dress would look hideous on me but it's lovely one her. She looks so happy and that's lovely

Love your pics, Duelingfanjo. I have lovely ones like that too. Lots of newborn ones and Dh also photographed each of my babies on their last breastfeed. Was a very sad occasion yet kind of got better when I placed them in the cot then went downstairs and got drunk on gin for the first time in fucking twatting ages

It's not the dress I'd have chosen, but it looked just right for Lily.

Besides, her smile was so happy and excited I just kept looking at her face rather than the dress.

The BMs dresses (the peach ones) are awful and I can only speculate her sister is cross at not being a BM so wore a fright on purpose.

I actually really like the veil and the top of the dress. The fishtail doesn't really work because the dress isn't tight at the top. But she looked absolutely radiantly happy - never seen her look better - and the news she is pregnant is wonderful. Hope to God it works out this time.

Horrid. Her dress is horrid, the bridesmaids look horrid and her sister looks horrid.

Urgh.

I rest my case...flying onion that is loathsome.
