Dentistry is really not a cool profession though. Bless her for trying.

BelovedCunt · 19/05/2011 15:33

i had bunches in my late 20's [shame]

Slubberdegullion · 19/05/2011 15:33

yy BC

Bunting of the head

Silly, inappropriate and a potential fire hazard

BelovedCunt · 19/05/2011 15:34

bet she also has butterfly tattoo on her hip

Slubberdegullion · 19/05/2011 15:34

Will have to recalibrate you on my mnometer

OTheHugeManatee · 19/05/2011 15:36

Our local dentist drives a Maserati.

[in the wrong profession emoticon]

BelovedCunt · 19/05/2011 15:36

BelovedCunt · 19/05/2011 15:37

yes bil dentist always has wanky status car, i am too car illiterate to tell you what they are but they go v. fast

Slubberdegullion · 19/05/2011 15:39

Just so long as they aren't accompanied with wacky glasses.

Please don't let this be the big reveal that you are actually Sue Pollard

OTheHugeManatee · 19/05/2011 15:39

The more I think about it though, the more disturbing I find the idea that the person doing roadworks in your head might be the kind of person who talks in a baby voice during sex and has a collection of teddy bears. Confused

shineoncrazydiam0nd · 19/05/2011 15:40

I do pigtails and bunches.

but strictly round the house.

cryhavoc · 19/05/2011 15:50

I did a passport form last night. Think there is a caveat that the people listed can only countersign if they don't have bunches. Will check small print later.

I still wear them sometimes. But will stop when I am a solicitor, promise.

Evizza · 19/05/2011 15:56

Almost spat my drink all over my laptop from laughing at suncottage

"What colour were her bobbles ?" Grin

schroeder · 19/05/2011 16:02

sad but true, grown women should not wear bunches, or wear pink.

MoonGirl1981 · 19/05/2011 16:21

Ha! Back off ladies.

I wear pig tails. Am 29. And I assure you I am uber cool! :)

I also long for a Beetle with flowers on but until I learn to drive there's little point.

And I wear pink.

Still found your comments hilarious though! Keep them up!

xxxxxx

TrillianAstra · 19/05/2011 16:39

Are they long or short?

She may be (very boringly) growing out hair from short to long but unable to put it away in a ponytail yet.

Bunches may be the only thing stopping her hair going in your face as she peers at your gnashers.

Suncottage · 19/05/2011 16:59

Actually. Come to think of it.

Are they real? Or the fake ones you buy from a joke shop when you want to look like a Viking wench.

[Worried now]

AbsDuCroissant · 19/05/2011 17:14

Were they directly on the side, or further back on the head, and lower down? If they're completely sticky out at the side ones, there's no hope. None.

I'm now grateful that my dentist only has a monobrow. And a grumpy hygenist who tried asphyxiating me. I think.

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie · 19/05/2011 17:16

I miss my pigtails. :( I'm 41 and have had short hair for about 18 months.

VivaLeBeaver · 19/05/2011 17:19

I know someone in her 40s who wears 2 plaits. She's actually very cool and carries it off very well.

AdventureMum · 19/05/2011 18:10

I'm 36 and wear bunches... short ones...and I don't look 36, honest!!

mamasmissionimpossible · 19/05/2011 18:14

There is a mum at ds school that has little bun pigtails in her hair everyday. I saw another mum with pigtails today

Suncottage · 19/05/2011 19:26

I would be worried though if my dentist sported pigtails.

He is in his fifties and pig ugly Hmm

bleedingstill · 19/05/2011 19:43

as long as she is a good dentist, meh

HalfTermHero · 19/05/2011 19:50

As long as your dentist is female then it is all good. Pigtails on a male dentist might be a little off putting. I expect that she reveals in her freedom from the bonds of social expectation. Well done that woman Smile
