Thick question - how do you use a fake tan mitt?

When you first apply it, it's such a lovely colour. But, I find that most of that comes off in the shower to reveal only a slight change in skin tone (tan).

I WISH the application colour was what you ended up with!!

There really IS no smell with this one!

But I wonder if that's why most of the guide colour showers off and you're left with only a "hint of a tint?"

Comes off on the sheets/clothes but......staining comes out on a 30 degree wash!

Pinot That's where I ordered my VL from too! Plus I went via Top Cashback to get a bit of money back. Ordered earlier this week and it arrived today - very impressed with the retailer. Tan mitt is at the ready for application later this evening.

I've got the Vita Liberata plus a fake bake mitt, it's rough spongy on one side and velvet-like on the other. It seems to work ok but the velvet side of the mitt soaks up loads of fake tan - am I doing it right? Should we dampen the mitt??

Gah! Not sure - my mitt is from Famous Dave and is different. I think though that the spongey side is for applying it and then the velvet side is for the blending. So I would apply it all over using the spongey bit then use the velvet side.That would be my "thunk". Mine has one spongey side and the other is just elastic - I like the sound of yours more to be honest. I'm not certain about dampening it - I don't with mine but ? Sorry not much help

I use the Ambre Solaire aerosol spray thingy and a Boots Soltan mitt. Spritz tan over self. Blend lightly with mitt. Piece of piss - 30 seconds, no mess. (Stand on an old towel though, to avoid orange soles )
