Here

I like them.

I'm not very good at flat sandals, but I need some... am thinking these.

Do your worst Grin

Kurri no !

That is the footwear of a geography teacher circa 1982.

Feenie · 22/04/2011 21:16

Stop holding back, moondog - tell her what you really think. [bugrin]

Whatevs · 22/04/2011 21:17

Kurri's are abut 100 times better than the original monstrosities, though! Christ they are foul.

Bellagio · 22/04/2011 21:17

I do like them but I couldn't do 'Biscuit' without a bit of a tan I don't think.
Are your legs brown Tethersend?

TethersEnd · 22/04/2011 21:17

Best x-post ever, moondog Grin

Grin

I breathed a sigh of relief that we were back on same wave length.

If you need something plain to walk in, get a pair of Birkenstocks.

TethersEnd · 22/04/2011 21:25

I'm going to pretend you didn't mention the b-word, moondog.

OP posts:
pink4ever · 22/04/2011 21:25

FFS someone is reccomending birkenstocks??!!!

KurriKurri · 22/04/2011 21:26

Call me over sensitive, but I'm getting subtle vibes of dislike for my sandals Grin

Whatevs · 22/04/2011 21:28

I bought some Birkies after getting ridiculously influenced by an MN thread. They are hideous and hurt my feet. Thanks beeyatches.

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie · 22/04/2011 21:32

Tethers - I think you need to go and have a little lie down. First the hideous 70s maxi dress and now these monsters - I have seen them irl and you must believe me that they are revolting.

Now please listen to me - por yourself a Pimms, lie down, contemplate either your navel or Vivienne Westwood for a few minutes then look again at the sandals.

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie · 22/04/2011 21:32

poUr

FritziGreenEyes · 22/04/2011 21:34

Simple tan glads

Another pair of tan glads

LK Bennett in cream

Have you considered metallic? I like these

TethersEnd · 22/04/2011 21:41

Fritzi, I bought those first tan ones two years ago and went for a long walk in them. I could not walk for SIX WEEKS afterwards. They damaged my foot. I will never buy anything that flat and unsupported again... so that's the others you linked to out, although I quite like the snakeskin LK Bennett ones.

pink, if you and I agree on something and me and moondog disagree, my world may well implode, so I'm glossing over the birkenstock issue Grin

Colonel, I'm afraid I love the 1970s, I do. And I love these sandals. I can't help it. Can we still be friends?

tethers Sorry I didn't read the brief properly. Try again: here?

TethersEnd · 22/04/2011 22:05

I actually LOVE those, Fritzi!

Now I am confused...

KurriKurri · 22/04/2011 22:09

Fritzi's will go better with your Jaeger bag.

LadyCornyOfSilk · 22/04/2011 22:10

I don't like them.

usualsuspect · 22/04/2011 22:11

these

LadyCornyOfSilk · 22/04/2011 22:12

I had a pair like those from office in fritzi's link and they stretched when they got wet. Then kept falling off my feet.

LadyCornyOfSilk · 22/04/2011 22:13

Loads of gladiator type ones on Brand Alley today in the torrente sale.

harpsichordcarrier · 22/04/2011 22:15

£80????
REALLY??
for SANDALS???
they ARE nice but.... £80??

TethersEnd · 22/04/2011 22:18

usual, I have seen the light, thank you. I will buy some at once Grin

Really corny? Hmm, am veering back to the Clarks now. Even though they are £79.99 (NOT £80) Wink

OP posts:
Bellagio · 22/04/2011 22:18
