It is brilliant for re surfacing and generally plumping up.

TracyK · 20/04/2011 16:05

Is it a temporary thing ie use it in the day when people see the results. Or at night before bed for ongoing improvement?

noddyholder · 20/04/2011 16:13

At night before bed or just indoors It is not for daytime as it sort of lightly exfoliates and would make you sun sensitive i think

ggirl · 20/04/2011 17:48

aww cybbo I am deflated for you.
Save up and have it all !!

I gave up on the not touching my face for days malarky.

Put some makeup on veeerrrry gently ,did my eyes and felt much better.
Looks ok , but she did warn me I would have to wait longer to see the full results.
The whopper on my nose is def gone though

AmazingDisgrace · 20/04/2011 18:04

I want my nose veins done.. mine look like someone has tried painting flames up the side of my nose. Like a dodgy Harley Davidson or summat

darleneconnor · 20/04/2011 18:05

I really want this done. My face is quite red. Is it permanent? Does it work on acne scarring aswell?

ggirl · 20/04/2011 19:58

it is permanent but you may develop new thread veins in the same area .
Don't know about acne scars ,worth enquiring about.

Hello everyone. I am new to mumsnet and Im sooo excitapated. The reason I joined was you are all so funny that I laughed my socks off after reading the thread vein post. Anyway I digress. My sister had a few thread veins removed from her face via electrolysis and it worked in one session. I think it cost around £40. I will definately have it done myself and will let you all know.
