How shall I dress my 14 year old (slightly goth) daughter for a wedding?

DD1 is 16 and only wears black(!). We are going to a wedding in August but she is refusing to wear colour. DD2 (10) and DS1 (8) are fine.

This for DD

and DS is wearing simple beige linen shorts and waiscoat with a white shirt.

I am at the end of my tether with DD1, please help!

Blimey.

The middle one would be great for a wedding.

Does your DD attend lots of "dos" then?

Great dresses, the second is fantastic :)

All Saints do lovely dress/shirts which billow out at the hips a little and which come in dark greys and blacks. They do some lovely dresses too www.allsaints.com/women/dresses

:)

Good grief!

WhatsWrongWithYou · 17/04/2011 22:49

Where will she wear these monstrosities dresses? (The DP one is nice, though). I thought of AllSaints as well, but somehow got caught up thinking the OP wanted to spend less money than that.

Blimey Shock your DD is very lucky.

Am glad you came to a compromise with her though.

That's a beautiful dress and definitely suitable for a goth ... nice compromise :)

I want that second dress....
