Photo on my profile.

It's always been thin, but after last pg it's so much worse.

I used to wear it long and also had a Louise Brooks bob and it was dyed v.dark brown.
Now it's natural color-light brown.

Need to get a cut. Fringe? Short bob? Just a trim?

Thanks Smile

Anyone?

You are very pretty with great bone structure.
I reckon a return to the Louise Brooks bob! :)

winnybella · 17/02/2011 14:34
Blush

The problem with the bob is that as my hair is quite thin, the fringe needs to start from almost the top of my head iyswim and also it tends to lie lifelessly on my forehead.

Hmm.

Maybe, short cut with long layers you can either wear sleek or ruffled depending on how you feel?

My sister cut my hair like this last year, when my hair was thinning due to stress (have tendancy to thinning hair after giving birth, illness & stress so,know how it feels for you).

I have a pic on profile.

Now got a classic bob with fringe. Wink

The cut in the pic was very easy to grow out, too,if you want a change & feel like growing it again.Just get regular trims at the nape of neck.

RamblingRosa · 17/02/2011 14:44

You're really pretty Envy. Perhaps just a trim, maybe some layers, maybe change colour a bit if you fancy a change?

cyb · 17/02/2011 14:46

I think your face could take a short elfin cut like whatserface from Harry Potter

YoginiBikini · 17/02/2011 14:49

I agree with cyb. you'd look great with a short cut.

zondra's hair looks fab too and would also suit you

RamblingRosa · 17/02/2011 15:00

Ooh yes, just checked out Zondra's pic. You're gorgeous too. Feeling quite inadequate now and desperately coveting a hair cut myself.

Zondra · 17/02/2011 15:01

Thanks,YoginiBikini!Grin

I agree about the elfin cut, too. Not many can carry it off but,as I said you have great bone structure,so you'd carry it off no problem.

Zondra · 17/02/2011 15:04

Awww,Thank you,RamblingRosa. :)
Nothing like a good haircut to give yourself a boost.

winnybella · 17/02/2011 15:34

Thank you all Smile Will go for shorter, then, I think.

So...a short fringe with the bob, or over the eyebrows?

I like your cut, Zondra, but myself I wouldn't like to have that sweeping bit in my face all the time iyswim. I would probably keep it permanently tucked behind my ear.

itsalarf · 17/02/2011 19:24

Think you could definitely take it shorter with your lovely bone structure!

FellatioNelson · 17/02/2011 19:31

Well I agree - your hair is fine and wispy, which is a bummer, but Good Lord you are pretty! I think a very short pixie crop, longer on the crown and with a very short fringe, that you can get some product into for lots of texture and volume, and maybe some chunky blonde highlights would help add 'weight' to it as well.

winnybella · 17/02/2011 19:34

Thank you Blush

Right, will try and go on Saturday. Short bob, I think. Not sure about the fringe yet.

OP posts:
winnybella · 17/02/2011 19:35

x-post with Fellatio. Short short??? Not sure I'm couragous enough.

piratecat · 17/02/2011 19:39

yep you are very pretty, and the shorter bob, with a side parting would look really cool. if it's layered too you will loads of fun with it. clips, parting etc...!

TragicallyHip · 17/02/2011 19:41

Yes defo go shorter!

I have fine hair too and have bought a clip in fringe on Ebay. It looks great I must say but the only problem is my real hair fringe looks a but naff without it so I clip it back half the time!

I can try find a link for you if you were interested in have a look?

LessNarkyPuffin · 17/02/2011 19:45

Short short would look good. Layered, cut in well. You have the youth and the bones.

winnybella · 17/02/2011 20:01

TragicallyHip- my hair is way to thin to have a clip-in fringe in it. You could see it easily, I'm afraid.

LessNarkyPuffin- thank you very much. I'm 31 though, so not that young, though.

Okay, short bob, perhaps as piratecat said, with a bit of side parting, maybe a some layers...but then again, hair is so thin now that layers might not really look good Hmm

Oh, fgs, it's not such a big deal, is it Grin, but I haven't had a cut in years. I've been doing it myself (as you can tell).

OP posts:
winnybella · 17/02/2011 20:03

too thin
and no a some layers
I can spell, usually Hmm

Thanks so much, everyone.

31

I hate you

You should have it all shaved off Wink

LessNarkyPuffin · 17/02/2011 20:07

Layers can give body if done well.

If you don't go for the bald option.

piratecat · 17/02/2011 20:28

31!!!

let us know how you get on.!
