Would people mind updating their S&B threads, if they can ...

Please ?

I love S&B. I love virtually shopping and virtually spending other people's money. Sometimes the OP will say they like some of my choices. Sometimes they hate them. Either is fine but I want to know what they decided to buy (if anything).

I admit I am a nosey sod with no life but I want to know what you ended up wearing to your wedding/christening/night out/black tie do.

So, can you please update your threads. Even if you come on and say you hated everything and ended up buying something totally different.

An S&B thread with no conclusion is like watching an episode of Grand Designs where they ran out of money and didn't finish the house.

Thank you Smile

It was my favourite MN thread EVER - I will never forget it! Cue - evil stalker-ish laughter. :)

ShowOfHands · 14/02/2011 19:37

I wore it today. Grin

traceybath · 14/02/2011 19:57

Were you not chilly?

And anyway you're always hanging out in S&B nowadays Smile

ShowOfHands · 14/02/2011 20:38

I had Other Stuff on too. I like layers sort of in a Gudrun Sjoden type way.

That was my attempt to fit in.

I like s&b. It feels so wrong, yet so right.

Belligerent - concealer is nice, very light. If you put it in the fridge before you put it on it's very nice on the skin, too. Smile

Browsing S&B has been my guilty late-night habit )ooh, what a rebel, I know) while I've been away from DH and staying over in hotels. It's lovely to see people updating with threads I remembered reading! Smile

Thanks - sadly I think these bags under my eyes require more than nice and light! They seem to be getting worse - arghhhhhhhhh. :)

Grin You should see me in the mornings when I'm up early! I was seriously considering the fabled anusol treatment the other week. Blush

Excellent point, OP!

I started a thread last summer about what a thirty-something wears for a night on the town, and bought:

traceybath's jeans and New Look blazer
KodakBat's Topshop tunic, Asos necklace and asos super-high sandals that give me vertigo
and I wore my make-up in the exact style suggested by PlumSykes

So a belated thank you to all Smile

I remember that thread I think, Dreams. Were you going out with some Hip Young Things?

What happened to the lady who never shopped but had nude heels? Her DH then bought her some grey suede shoes. She was thinking of wearing black skinny trews.

Traceybath - I'll be eternally grateful! You'll be my first port of call from now on!

Sounds great dreamsinbinary. So did you pull? Grin
