WHy do magazines and websites think we stand by desert roads in hot pants?

and other such oddplaces
Or that we joyfully ride bikes around with baskets full of tulips ( houles kew etc)
or wear bikini bottoms with wellies and look ecstatic?

or slouch moodily in window frames?

i want a REAL LIFE womans cataloge

Gloves - modelled by a mum on all fours( not THAT type!) next to a rugby pitch unravelling boys boot laces

PANTS modelled by a demented hair woman realising the alarm hasnt gone off and SHE CANT FIND PANTS

Ignores yet another bottom that needs wiping and another nappy that needs changing.

Oh and the fact I'm in my 'loungewear' as have fake tanned.

Ah yes, DarrellRivers - Toast is worse than either Joules or Boden, imo. The models are always hanging around farmyards or derelict buildings in dry clean only clothes Hmm. At least Boden and Joules is generally machine washable Wink :o

Going back to the derelict building thing.......why is that suddenly arty and not squat-like in a Toast catalogue?
