Blush

A muslin cloth attached to the running tap wrapped around porridge oats and then opened to scrub with.

Skin is so soft, eczema all gone AND smells lovely :o

Oh and it costs about 5p!

what is babyliss big hair? is it a brush?

ullainga · 09/02/2011 09:32

headfairy thanks so much for recommending LilyLolo! I was very disappointed in Bare Minerals, didn't like it at all. But after reading your comment, ordered some samples from LilyLolo and they are brilliant! Going back to their website for full sizes :)

Botanics Rose water tonic; it's organic, doesn't dry out your skin, and smells fab..

I am not normally a fan of toners, as most feel to me as if they are stripping off the skin, but this one is different!

MoonGirl1981 · 09/02/2011 10:21

V05 Rosemary and Mint shampoo.

Smells freaking gorgeous!

BadPoet · 09/02/2011 11:27

For 2011? I think it's my Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin. I wasn't sure about it but my ordinary one had run out and I saw an 'Original Sin' (ho ho) gift pack with full sized bottles of each in it for £14 (normally one is £11) so I went for it and I really love it, it's a great colour on me, the staying power is the same as the original and it's so quick and easy.

Freyfreysmum · 21/02/2011 20:22

smashbox photofinish primer.

Poodlehorse · 26/04/2011 13:36

thanks to this thread have just discovered Cetaphil, bought it on Saturday and started using immediately and I am seriously impressed. cheap as chips but really does the job, I didn't have any major skin issues but it has already improved the look and feel of my skin, I don't think it is my imagination that my moisturiser is suddenly working better/need less of it. I have been a Gatineau girl for years and thought I would never change. Just goes to show you. My skin and my bank balance thank you all for the recommendation.

tulpe · 26/04/2011 13:53

Mama Mio's Clean Slate cleanser. All natural, great for balancing combination skin: I have dry skin prone to hormonal breakouts. Also their Mighty Moisture moisturiser. A little goes a very long way.

kazah72 · 26/04/2011 14:04

clarins beauty flash balm for eyes!
Wink

chipstick10 · 26/04/2011 19:54

Philip kingsley shampoos (moisture balance and body building) and philip kingsley elasticiser brilliant brilliant brilliant.

MadameCastafiore · 26/04/2011 20:04

WEN no shampoo shampoo stuff - only been using it for a short time and my hair feels fab!

daimbardiva · 26/04/2011 20:23

Matrix biolage Delicate Care Oil. I haven't actually tried Moroccan Oil, but this stuff does what I'd hoped MO would and has no silicones. result!

dementedma · 26/04/2011 20:24

still swear by Lush's Buffy the Backside Slayer exfoliating bar for smoothing out the lumps and bumps. Get through loads of them each year.
Also their new Handcream melt thingy which smells divine and is very moisturising on the norkage.

pinkhousesarebest · 26/04/2011 20:27

What do you do with the Moroccan oil? Is it an all over job, or just for the ends?

daimbardiva · 27/04/2011 09:39

Just for the ends (on my hair anyway) - I think you have to remember it is an oil so keep away from the roots!

I basically use it the way I used to use serum - combed through towel-dried hair. It really does seem to make it a lot more manageable.

otchayaniye · 27/04/2011 11:32

Anything with urea in it (flexitol, Hydralock, Eucerin)

Chanel Vitalumiere

Lipstick Queen lipsticks in the Saint formulation.

Celery · 27/04/2011 11:37

Does anyone else find the smell of Moroccan oil unbearable?

otchayaniye · 27/04/2011 11:53

Moroccan Oil products are overpriced, considering you get a nano amount of argan oil (which you can just buy in pure form anyway) and contain a lot of silicones, which over time coat the hair follicle which doesn't allow any moisture back in.

Might be ok if you're continually straightening and drying hair as silicone provides shine and makes it feel smooth, but for moisture retention its bad news

Gingoo · 14/01/2014 11:22
