Everybody hates my wedding dress!!!!

I have put a picture of the dress I want on my profile. Obviously DF hasn't seen it yet but all my family and friend who have seen it hate it and are trying to talk me out of it!

I just want something a little bit different and DF will be my 4th husband so its not like I can get away with wearing white.

I think my family are just set in their ways and don't understand fashion. What does everyone think about it? it is pretty amazing isn't it!!! Smile

Wow! [snurk]
I think you'll be the belle of the ball in that.
The kids will have a fab time pooping your balloons

cece · 26/01/2011 21:27

Blows me away ! Grin

paarrp · 26/01/2011 21:28

Its certainly different :o

RiojaLover75 · 26/01/2011 21:28

Er, no I a word. It's not amazing it's different granted but not amazing. Shock

ShortandCurly · 26/01/2011 21:28

So when the balloons inevitably pop during the course of the wedding, you'll be left dancing naked at the reception! Your male guests will be delighted!!

It's beautiful, your friends and family don't know what they're talking about.

Grin
nancy75 · 26/01/2011 21:28

do you have to blow it up yourself?

UltimateTurkey · 26/01/2011 21:28

OMG! So jealous!! Does it have fairy lights?

Are you going to have to take extra precautions against an accidental nipple reveal?!

ShatnersBassoon · 26/01/2011 21:29

Fill the balloons with helium, to make it a bit different from the run of the mill bridal balloon frock.

bubblerock · 26/01/2011 21:29

I think it's fab, and will only take up room in your wardrobe for a week or so after the ceremony!! Grin

Carrotsandcelery · 26/01/2011 21:30

What do you think DF will think of it? I wouldn't normally dress to please a man but on your wedding day you want him to love what you are wearing. You know him better than we do so you know if he will enjoy it or not.
It is a brave choice so you need to know he feels brave too.

Dylthan · 26/01/2011 21:30

Wow!!

Emmm.... well on a positive note green is ds favourite colour at the moment so he would think you look amazing Grin Grin Grin

ShortandCurly · 26/01/2011 21:32

The dress maker will blow the balloons on the morning. There is a green bodice that goes under it to protect my modesty. I thought when we were having the first dance dh could pop some of the balloons.

Wow, you're having a Dr Who themed wedding - what a fab idea! :)

ShortandCurly · 26/01/2011 21:34

I think I might fill the balloons with glitter to add to the magic as dh pops them
