Just wondered if anyone has any great recommendations for some nice undies (a matching set ) from either Bravissimo or Figleaves? I'm a 32E.

weesadie, I ordered that one last night too. Yes, having no cards is probably the safest way to go when you have internet connection.

WW again Cod? I would love to lose half a stone to a stone but just can't get motivated.

Agree with you about the frilly ones Cod. All lumpy looking, I definately want to be able to wear the undies with clothes, seems a waste otherwise.

Too many frills are bad I must admit... some are sooo pretty though, it is tempting!

flamebat · 05/10/2005 11:20

Not so keen on that one... a bit wench-like. Which is strange because I normally like the wench look

MrsSpoon · 05/10/2005 11:21

Looking at the spotty one in your link again, weesadie, it doesn't look too frilly, will have ot wait and see when it arrives. I loved the black spotty one in my first link but it wasn't available in the size I need so ordered pink gingham check instead, think this will probably be going back, wrong time of year for pink gingham.

LOL flamebat see what you mean, the model has an odd sort of look on her face which is putting me off a bit.

weesaidie · 05/10/2005 11:23

I love the wench look! lol. More! More!

flamebat · 05/10/2005 11:24

Quality reason not to buy something "the model had a funny look"

MrsSpoon · 05/10/2005 11:27

She looks a little psycho about the eyes, bunny boiler? Maybe those are her 'come to bed eyes'?

Disclaimer: I am very of her nice flat stomach though and am sure I will look nowhere near as good as she does in the undies when they arrive.

I get very bitter about that - they should use lumpy models so that you get a better impression.

Never forget my bikini coming, me realising just how much weight I'd put on and sobbing at DH "Why didn't you tell me I was putting on so much weight??"

His helpful reply... "I thought you knew"

Full of tact

MrsSpoon · 05/10/2005 11:34

flamebat, something tells me they might not sell so many if they had lumpy models!

Men! Mind you if my DH told me I was fat, I would probably slap him, they can't win!

OP posts:
flamebat · 05/10/2005 11:35

He did point that out to me

Update because I am sure you are all dying to know.

Pink gingham check, no use, only ordered an 'E' cup and it's too small but didn't like the colour on my skin, which is surprising because I usually suit pink.

Figleaves order came, my usual bra is great, also ordered one with see through straps and it's pretty good too, a black lacy number with mesh knickers seemed to arrive, although I don't remember ordering it, bra doesn't offer much support and the style is your typical big busted woman style, knickers are horrible, will be going back.

weesadie's spotty wench is fantastic and a definate possibility, needed the 'F' cup, Freya seem to be small made (or at least that's my story), nice camisole with it too.

Bravissimo is still to arrive.

OP posts:
MrsSpoon · 06/10/2005 23:45

Also the spotty wench has lacy bits but not where they would show through clothes, looks nice with a t-shirt over the top, no bumpy bits of lace.

weesaidie · 07/10/2005 10:29

Glad to hear the wench look is working for you! Very tempted now.

MrsSpoon · 07/10/2005 17:38

The red Bravissimo one arrived today and have decided to keep that along with the wench. Needed an 'F' in both styles, hope that's because they are small made. Don't particularly like the knickers of either set, think it's more that I need to lose a few lbs than the knickers themselves though.

OP posts:
flamebat · 07/10/2005 17:43

I thought that bravissimo were small sizes... then found that everywhere was apparantly making smaller sizes (clearly not just that I had grown )

My Next ones are going to take a couple of weeks to arrive

myturntobeposh · 07/10/2005 17:54

Oh good. I liked the red one - you have excellent taste! Please explain what a 'wench' is... conjuring up very unpleasant thoughts at the moment! (Can't view it though due to Norton being in overdrive mode again...)

hoxtonchick · 07/10/2005 18:03

i think freya ones generally come up small. when i'm not breastfeeding (& hence consigned to really grim feeding bras), i'm a 36g. i buy from bravissimo, & generally go for panache.

flamebat · 07/10/2005 18:05

Have you seen the pretty pink mothercare feeding bras?

hoxtonchick · 07/10/2005 18:15

ooooooooooh, will have to look. bet they don't come in the ridiculous size i need though....

flamebat · 07/10/2005 20:22

I'm bitter now, just realised they only go up to an E!!!! I do seem to be an E in nursing bras though, and if DD was anything to go by, then my breasts didn't grow when my milk came in.

hoxtonchick · 07/10/2005 20:24

no H for huge for me....
