Blanket and a thermometer at this rate :o

Christmas day is the only day of the year that I allow myself out of the house in leggings. It's far too uncomfortable a day to sit round in jeans or trousers. I'll cover everything except my humungous legs up with a tunic and give myself room to e-x-p-a-n-d Xmas Grin

IMHO the cook can wear whatever they like, but I truly believe it is a compliment to the hosts to make an effort.

PJs if I can get away with it. I will be cooking so want to be as comfy as possible. We do have a lot of family here so I probably should make myself a bit more presentable.

I have pencil red and blackish check skirt and lovely black cowl silky top with long blousy see-throughish sleeves. STill trying to buy high black shoes.

howver, this may be silly as I will be stooping around after baby nephew quite a bit

ahhhh, all smart plans have been dropped due to Narnia descending. We usually make an effort, however looking outside this morning, I think snuggly thick socks, track pants, hoodie and burts bees lip salve.

I will probably wear this from Joy, with leggings or tights and a vest or t-shirt underneath to contain my huge norks. It is not particularly festive, but it is great for eating too much food, and still okay for crawling around on the floor because it is just above knee length. Or a black dress from Topshop that also has empire line comfort and is effortless to wear, way more comfortable than pyjamas.
