this with dark dark blue jeans. Too short to wear it on its own and scrabble about on the floor with 4 children Grin

tiredemma · 13/12/2010 10:24

tulpe- lots of vin chaud on the agenda!

mistletoeploppy · 13/12/2010 10:24

Knitted Boden stripy dress - Xmas Blush - but I like it!

tulpe · 13/12/2010 10:26

Mistletoe - is that the Breton dress from Boden?

Helzapoppin · 13/12/2010 10:27

Tweed LK Bennett shift dress, purple tights and purple heels, accossorised with purple glass earrings and bangle. It's only my close family and DD's godfather for lunch, but I don't get many chances to dress up so why not?

mistletoeploppy · 13/12/2010 10:29

It's this one, in aubergine. Snuggly but looks nice too, and long enough for me (am giant - nearly 6ft and size 16)

tulpe · 13/12/2010 10:31

love that dress mistletoe. Sadly the neckline wouldn't work for me but it is gorgeous :)

daimbardiva · 13/12/2010 11:02

Whichever dress from the Boden sale I like best when it arrives.

I think it's nice to dress up on Christmas day - reminds me of when I was little

iwilldothis · 13/12/2010 11:12

Keeping it simple....my newest clothes, which is not quite but very similar to this skirt, with a black roll-neck top. Skirt is jersey material so comfy and wearable for crawling around on the floor with DD & nieces & nephews Xmas Smile

ben5 · 13/12/2010 11:15

t- shirt, sandles and skirt/ shorts, swimming costume, live near perth, australia and temps will be around 35!!! hubby will be at work till 9am so willhave a fun relaxed day with no cooking!!!

Megletitsnow · 13/12/2010 11:21

Track pants, thick socks and warm top.

There's no room for food in tight clothes.

maltesers · 13/12/2010 17:09

wow, have a lovely DOwn Under xmas ben5
I am in Wiltshire England and its freezing. . . .woolly hats gloves, winter boots and warm PJ's. . .

TheNextMrsClaus · 13/12/2010 17:41

I don't go as far as black tie, but I like to look a little bit dressed up on Christmas Day, we all do, it goes with the whole "posh meal, best china and crystal" that we go for.

Jeans would be just....wrong! It's Christmas!

verytellytubby · 13/12/2010 18:26

I'm wearing a chiffon black top with silver sequin bow on it, grey skinny jeans, black boots.

higgle · 13/12/2010 18:26

Whistles skater dress with lace bits, pearls and very high heels ( will put this lot on when I get changed at 11.45am after doing most of the serious cooking).

MissRead · 13/12/2010 21:49

If I had my way I'd be in my new Primark fleecy PJs with gingerbread men on for the whole day but don't suppose my ILs would appreciate that look so I'll probably wear my White Stuff (know that's a bit of a swear word on here but I love it) grey tunic dress www.whitestuff.com/GLITTER-DUST-TUNIC-P28704/ with leggings giving maximum room for expansion after my massive dinner. To cook said dinner I'll be accessorising with a flowery pinny so I don't ruin my tunic with gravy splashes and hot fat.

iwilldothis · 14/12/2010 10:36

love that tunic, missread....I want one!

MissRead · 14/12/2010 15:04

Thanks, it's just as lovely IRL, very cosy and flattering :)

FranSanDisco · 14/12/2010 15:05

mathanxiety · 14/12/2010 15:07

Jeans, turtleneck, wooly socks and an apron Xmas Smile

And Xmas Envy FranSanDisco

CaveMum · 14/12/2010 15:11

I shall be in my fab new Issa dress bought from eBay and some killer heels!

(disclaimer - not me in the picture sadly!)

aBrightStarWithFestiveWays · 14/12/2010 15:16

I have no idea. Am 6 weeks pg, feeling frumpy and grumpy, and have no money for new clothes as am being made redundant in the new year. Harrumph.

TruthSweet · 14/12/2010 15:22

I will be wearing this and accessorising with a long necklace. Not super exciting but very comfy and lots of roast potato room Grin

BilboBloggins · 14/12/2010 15:22

As I'll be mostly cooking and crawling round the floor pick up bits of lego, I'll be wearing this with skinny jeans.
