Winter is playing havoc with my hands.

I have used up every half empty tube I could find in the bathroom cabinet. I need some more, but what to try.

Sanctuary is good.

Neutrogena is meant to be really good but not ime.

WhyIsThatThen · 30/11/2010 17:29

I like Clarins best.

If I'm skint its Neutrogena.

happilyeverafter · 30/11/2010 17:37

Body Shop Hemp.

c0rns1lk · 30/11/2010 17:37

ditto body shop hemp

mustdash · 30/11/2010 17:39

e45 - neutrogena a waste of space, and clarins lovely now and again, but not for serious issues (IME)!

coastgirl · 30/11/2010 17:39

I got some L'Occitaine free with a magazine and it's really good - I would pay full-price for it. Except I find the lid fiddly, but maybe they used shoddy ones for the giveaway tubes!

DrSpechemin · 30/11/2010 17:40

Aveeno is very very good

cocolepew · 30/11/2010 17:40

Fish oil capusles, taken not rubbed into your hands! I noticed difference in a week, I now have the hands of a 5 year old (dirty).

Body Shop Hemp is great, slather it on under rubber gloves and do very hot washing up - works for me Smile

ANTagony · 30/11/2010 17:42

Lidl hand cream with beeswax is good and cheap. I keep one on each sink as I've got washer womens hands at this time of year.

moragbellingham · 30/11/2010 17:54

Kiehls' Ultimate strength hand salve is the best IMO - non-greasy and really works.

L'occitane is second favourite - and those lids are on the full size Shea butter tubes too!
Cherry blossom lovely, as is green tea (normal lids)

Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme - if you like the smell of marzipan it smells lovely as an added bonus

CoteDAzur · 30/11/2010 18:17

Mavala night cream (for hands, obviously)
L'Occitane

Dillie · 30/11/2010 18:21

I use atrixo during the day and smother my hand with Aqueous cream at night with cotton gloves on top.

I get really bad eczema and the tips of my fingers split open during the winter months. This is the only treatment that I have found works.

Also the Aqueous cream doesnt sting on the cracks and splits unlike some creams

zanz1bar · 30/11/2010 19:34

I have heard good things about body shop hemp cream.
I will put loccitane on my christmas list.
Thanks

Any other recommendations

L'Occitane Shea butter hand cream is AMAZING. Rich and non greasy. Definitely christmas present price though unfortunately

lizandlulu · 30/11/2010 19:56

superdrug hand balm is a good cheepie and bliss spa high intensity heand cream with macadamia oil and grapseed is brilliant but £18 a tubeShock worth it though imo

Pandsbear · 30/11/2010 19:59

Aveda - but again Christmas present price (I ask for some every year)

orienteerer · 30/11/2010 20:00

Another vote for Kiehls Ultimate Hand Salve - is the only thing that gets my hands through the winter.

2madboys · 30/11/2010 20:03

Boots botanics overnight hand cream. Cheap, works well (nice and thick - I use it all the time, not at night) and smells really nice.

thinkingaboutschools · 30/11/2010 20:35

Burts bees or Kiehls.
