Carole Middleton joined her husband to make a public statement about their daughter becoming the wife of the future King.

She knew her picture would be seen by millions of people around the world and that she was representing the Middleton family.

If it had been you opening your wardrobe that day (actually, be honest style and beauty ladies, you would have been planning the outfit for years weeks) what would you have pulled out to wear?

Would you have chosen a pair of blue jeans?!!

I think she would have looked better if she'd teamed a crisp white shirt with her jeans - and maybe a string of pearls of a navy blazer type jacket.

I would have worn jeans as she did but maybe a plain white T shirt and a very casual Navy jacket - to show that I was relaxed, comfortable and didn't give a hoot what anyone else thought as my daughter was going to be Queen.!!
